McHenry Honors Bill Current on the House Floor

Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) delivered a speech on the House floor to honor the legacy and service of The Honorable Dr. William Current, a Gaston County leader who passed away in February at the age of 90.
In addition to starting a successful dental practice and serving the community in various capacities for decades, Dr. Current served as Congressman McHenry's successor in the North Carolina General Assembly.

I remeber talking to Dr. Current. He was a very kind man. He did charity dental work for people in deep poverty. We basically wrote each other. He actually took time to respond unlike many today. I tip my hat to him
