Yeah, I know right? Except for purpose-built form factor PCs with no extra space, all desktops should include an optical drive. Blu-Ray disks are the best way to watch movies, and those who get their internet throttled often opt to install games from disks. There's no reason, even in 2018, for a mid-tower to not include a space for an optical drive.
