  • Belgrade Serbia is one of the most affordable capital cities in all of Europe! This video documents our first visit to Belgrade. We explore the Belgrade Fortress, try traditional Serbian food, visit the St Sava Temple, and learn all about Nikola Tesla at his museum!
    Belgrade was once the capital of Yugoslavia but now it's the party capital of Europe. Serbia has had quite a turbulent past, but now has emerged with a vibrant cafe culture, unique architecture, and a lively nightlife. We visited Kalemegdan, Belgrade Fortress, Kneza Mihaila, Republic Square, Temple of Saint Sava, and The Nikola Tesla Museum. Serbian food is so delicious too... but more on that later ;-)
    Belgrade Serbia is truly one of a kind!
    Welcome to our journey! We are Max & Sidney, and we decided to take this year to travel to a new continent and see what life is like in a new environment!

      @@user-ii3eu6xd8hstop copy-pasteing that comment. We cant let that slide, because if we do, there will be more and more people that will be ignorant of that. The fact that they live 5000 miles away does not matter. At the time, Kosovo is the most known thing about Serbia and is the first thing that intetnet warns you about when you look on what things you need to pay attention if you are planning on visiting Serbia. Also, when you google "map of Serbia" the first map that pops up is the map with Kosovo as part of Serbia. They had to specifically chose the map without it.

      @@user-ii3eu6xd8h It is not some territory. If it is just a territory we would give that to Albania long time ago. Our Church was founded in Kosovo and Metohia, our most spiritual monasteries are in Kosovo and Metohia, our kings are crowned there, battle against Ottoman Empire 1389 happened. As Vuk Karadzic, founder of modern serbian language said all serbian folk songs about Kosovo, are from Kosovo, they are about people from that area, they are about battle against Ottoman Empire in 1389. When it was uprising against Ottoman occupations did that mainly so we liberate Kosovo from Turks again. They did not care for other regions their main goal was to return to Kosovo one day. So no... It is not just territory. It is literally soul and heart entire nation. Serbia without Kosovo and Metohia is just an empty shell and nothing more.

    Why is it funny or strange that there is a Tesla museum in Belgrade? He is a Serb, genetically and with his whole soul, because he has always emphasized how proud he is of his Serbian origin. In addition, the territory where he was born was the Military Krajina under the rule of Austria-Hungary, but before that it was Serbian territory. Serbia was much bigger and with a richer history than it is presented in the world. After all, you probably know that almost the entire world history is fake...The circumstances were such that he only visited Belgrade for a day and a half, and it is widely known that Tesla did not have time for his private life and pleasures because his greatest passion was science and his work, which he dedicated to the welfare of all humanity...

The wells usually have natural spring water. And there is an abundance of drinkable water in Bosnia.
      Smaller towns/villages usually have water wells where anyone can go to fill up water for couple of days. Many also have a well in their garden, and it's a custom that you let strangers use it if they need.

    First, Edison didn't invent the light bulb. Sorry. It is not Tesla's invention also. The same Marconi didn't invent radio transmission, he stole that from Tesla. Tesla won on the court, but Marconi got the Nobel prize for stealing. Second, the Guarana drink is RED BUL, it is an energetic drink, so it doesn't need to be tasty, it is full of caffeine, enough to kill an elephant.
    You really know how to use the camera. GOOD JOB. Nice angles, nice shots. You made the best shots in the Temple of Saint Sava, it is in the top 10 I've ever seen.

      Hajde ustašo oladi. ""If you got a slave master or [Ku Klux] Klan in your blood, blacks can sense that," he was quoted as saying. "That stuff lingers to this day. Just like Jews can sense Nazi blood and the Serbs can sense Croatian blood." Bob Dylan

      While there, in Croatia, go to Smiljane, Nikola 's home town, and check out how all those Tesla's Serbian relatives were slathered by Croatian, Ustashas, in WW2.. guess Nikola would be killed too back in those days but, luckily for him, he was already in the USA..

    • @vickoslavkovic2593
      @vickoslavkovic2593 Před 4 dny

      It is so "fake" that the Croatian Nazi Ustasha literally slaughtered Tesla's entire extended family during WW2 just because they were Serbs.
