To have a view of this library, and with a model of an illusion, is a treat
At first I thought Mr. Copperfield had a new world tour in the works.
Non the less David Copperfield has been and still is a true legend... someone ive always looked up to since the early 1990's.
Back in the 90's I went to his shows five years in a row.
Simply spectacular performance 🙌🙌
I made the top ten magicians list in Las Vegas with David being number one but I'm honored to have made the same list as him and he still the best!
I remember seeing him live on his world tour. A living legend. He still looks the same!! Pure magic!🙌🏻

I remember watching the Statue of Liberty disappear… it was a huge TV event.
Just came out of his show (about 2 hours ago), honestly was hoping he would do some more risky stunts (cutting people in half, etc.) but it was amazing. I’m so amazed and stunned at some of the stuff he did
And that’s his true genius: It’s never been entirely about amazing people. It’s about helping us dream.

I briefly met him a good decade ago by chance. I was worried he would be stand-off_ish,_ but he was pretty much exactly like he is here. Very friendly and approachable.

Not really. People who look up how tricks are done aren't magicians. Just people who are curious. It doesn't matter if you know how a trick is done. You still need talent, and years of practice. Everybody knows how Michael Jordan played basketball. Everyone knows how Chris Rock tells jokes. But that's not the secret, because you still can't go on the court and dominate like Jordan, or go onstage, and make 20,000 laugh instantaneously. And Jordan would be the first one to tell you that he wasn't very good at basketball when he started. He didn't even make his college basketball team. Same with Chris Rock. He was boo'd off the stage for a long time before he got a laugh. You can watch a video on youtube of showtime at the Apollo of Lauryn Hill getting boo'd off the stage at the Apollo Amature Night in 1987. And no doubt, it took David years to perfect his craft. That's the true secret. Years of blood, sweat and tears. And if you're lucky, it might just pay off. Knowing how a trick is done is not going to make you a great magician.

I had bought two tickets way in advance to see his show with my husband in New Hampshire in the mid 90’s…. Then divorce happened. We still went to his show but David Copperfield did not make my ex husband disappear. Very disappointing. 🤷🏻♀️ JK of course.

I have a suspicion that he doesn't actually post fake explanations online like he claims. He's using that as psychological misdirection to make us call into question the validity of an explanation.

I went to a show, once. Stood in line afterwards, for an autograph, and he never acknowledged anyone, spent the entire time talking to some guy who was with him. Very rude person.

I saw his show Friday at MGM Grand and it was one of the worst shows I ever. He just as bad as Criss Angel. Penn & Teller are the true kings of magic
