Yep same, junk synchron and quilbolt hedgehog are some of my fav cards, and nitro warrior was my first boss monster
I played since battle city, but still.. Seeing synchro cards were so cool. The white color was too cool
@@soukenmarufwt5224 I literally explained that I just started playing at that time so no lmao I didn’t play comp in 2009/2010. I’d say that’s not completely true for all of synchro era but I’d say the real problem was that a lot of rogue strategies weren’t as well thought out or viable
Same, also the first episode really captivated me and to this day rewatching Yusei Synchro summon guves me that seratonin i crave
Fun fact: Yusei and Yusaku are the on protagonists who never been join the darkness or possess by it and not to mention they didn't go berserk mode
Yusei did in the manga but that was a different continuity. Even then it only lasted like 5 seconds

Junk Warrior was soooo damn cool! When I first saw it on the Anime TV Show I really wanted to get my hands on the card my mother took me to a card store in my town and they sold the 5d's Yusei Starter Deck with Junk Warrior on its cover. I yelled at my mom "Mommy come on please buy me this Deck please". She bought it for me and it was one of the happiest days in my life ❤️

I feel like in a world without Signers, Satellite Warrior could've been a pretty dope ace for Yusei.
Fun fact about Doppelwarrior, its activation timing is perfect if you use it to summon Junk Warrior
Use Doppel and Junk Synchron to bring out Junk Warrior, Warrior's effect auto activates cuz mandatory, and you're able to chain the token spawning to it. Immediately get 2 monsters with 400 atk on the field, giving Warrior a free 800 boost just by synchro-ing, even higher depending on the rest of your field
Dude a cool combo would be to Carrier Synchon and then summon Junk Synchron and the special summon Doppelwarrior and then get Junk warrior with With Dopple and Junk getting the tokens from both Carrier and Dopplewarrior and then boom a LV 5 monster with 4100 attack
There is an OTK deck centered around Junk Warrior and exploiting its effect with Relinquished (yes, it works) to give it massive amounts of steroids.
JunkDoppel Solidarity was a funny otk deck back in the day when it went off

Even more attack bonus if u activate The A. Forces spell card before summoning Junk Synchron + Doppel combo.
Fun fact about bri synchron: the "summoned monster's effect is negated" effect also lasts until the end of the turn like the attack boost (learned it on duel links with stardust spark dragon)
Every protag in Yu-Gi-Oh had a Ace and then a favorite monster. Jaden/Judai Ace is Neos and his favorite is Flare Wingman. Yuya Ace is odd eyes dragon and favorite is performapal hippo,etc.

Dark magician, blue eyes, heroes (both destiny and elemental) and warriors are some of the coolest archetypes in yugioh

Junk Warrior is my favorite because I like it appeared in the first and last episode of 5D's.

The Synchron Deck doesnt use Halq, because overtake, Stardust Synchron and Dawnwalker lock you into Synchros.
Its something about the aesthetic of the warrior/synchron archetype that I just love

5D’s is great to this day the synchro monsters are some of my favorite in yu gi oh. i remember playing the world championship games on my ds as a kid

Star Siphon chained to Junk Warrior's synchro summon was one of my favourite finishers
Honestly, Synchron Warriors (and Quickdraw Plant specifically) was one of my favorite decks because it exemplified basically everything I look for in a deck. I prefer grindy decks, and Quickdraw Doppel was a little more grindy how I remember it. I love reactive decks that are about doing what is best to answer any number of situations, and the deck had that - Nitro Warrior for aggression; Turbo Warrior to deal with Synchro Monsters; Drill Warrior for safe and steady play, etc. Being able to mix in main deck boss monsters like Gorz and BLS that would work well with the deck, as well.
With all the constant new Stardust related cards, as well as GX constantly getting new support to try and let people play the anime-esque decks (like what happened with Ojamas), it's weird that Synchron Warriors never got retrains or spinoffs that make them more in-line with modern card design. Their best play starter is STILL a card from almost 15 years ago!
At the very least, I wish for a new Synchro focused archetype that does use a variety of different levels and effects designed around answering different situations rather than just "slap your entire Extra Deck on board turn 1 with 3 negates and either you win or if you get interrupted in your combo you lose."
Im not a hundred percent sure about how the new swordsoul archetype works, but it's supposed to be Synchro
bloody Halq, killin all the fun tuners! that aside, a good look into mr. fudo's beginning cards is always welcome
And not just tuners, the non tuners as well. Level Eater has been on the ban list before halquifibrax, but it got banned again because of halquifibrax.

It finally here congrats on making 20k follows was it and to talk about fav yugioh protag deck Aw man yusei cards were a cool trail mix cards that I found fun to watch and making the odd lv of synchros really made thing interesting glad to see I once tried to make a yusei deck way back in 2017 with the last synchro structure deck synchron extreme but mostly cause I love synchros mostly cause of the show

5sd is by far the best when it comes to anime yugioh has gone, and the duels are long as hell but quite entertaining to watch, and I'm using a syncro deck which is super fun to play (and has long ass combos)
I really wish Signal Warrior's effects were spell speed 4, meaning the opponent would not be able to respond to it, like in the anime
road warrior makes me angry because its so close to being good and the tuner lock isn't that big an issue thanks to quickdraw, but needing 3 monsters to make kills it for me.

YEAH SYNCHROS! My favorite yugioh monster type, with some of my favorite archetypes, (synchrons, Superheavy Samurai, Speedroid, Wind Witch, etc!)

Love the first Yusei Explained episode, totally going to check out the next one. Signal Warrior and Accel Synchron both reference Yusei's D Wheeler, the Yusei Go. You missed one card for Synchrons, Starlight Junktion.

@@kitsunephantom6155 Halq isn't toxic, he's what ppl in yugioh call a really good card. Meanwhile balanced cards are considered trash. His purpose was to help the consistency for synchro that haven't received support.

Tuning defintly has the discard because of cards like Quilbolt Hedgehog, Junk Synchron, or any graveyard effect monster
kinda forget to comment on drill warriors really good graveyard recycling ability. getting any 1 monster from your grave to your hand by discarding a card is pretty awesome.
I actually play lay drill synchron in my synchron deck because him plus quill bolt hedgehog or junk converter is a naturia beast and with junk speeder being able to quickly turbo synchrons out I would say drill synchron ain't so bad

Tuning in the Anime: Add 1 "Synchron" Tuner monster from your deck to your hand, then send cards from the top of your deck equal to level of the added monster
For some decks a whole lot better. For other decks its a bigger detriment.

In Duel Master one of my favorites deck is Synchron and Man I'm using 1 Trishula Lvl9 1 Crystal Wing Lvl8 & 1 Stardust along side the whole combo with the Shooting Star, Junk Destroyer, junk Archers and maybe the Shooting Majestic

So the original anime effects for tuning ,after adding the Synchron ,
you were suppose to mill cards from the top of your deck according to the level of the Synchron you added to the hand , I guess thats why they included it IRL but 1 card mill isnt that great

Trivia about Signal Warrior: His name in Japanese has a bonus wordplay because Signal pronunces the same as "Signer" for them... and his name in French is all messed up because some idiot translated it as the equivalent of "Warrior's Signal" and I absolutely hate it.

Just something to think about when it comes to Junk Warrior: King of the Skull Servants is a lv 1 monster.
@@RedEyesJacollo I think Skull servant wont work because synchron only support warriors and other synchron.
@@Red-nw2yn junk Warrior gains ATK of every lv 2 or lower monster. If you're able to either establish or summon King of the Skull Servants when Junk Warrior is summoned, then you have a really big monster on your field. The deck this would work in is a skull servant one with some junk doppell thrown in for the warrior play

@@Red-nw2yn send skull servants to the gy, summon King with any sort of effect, normal summon junk synchron, revive a wight effect monster, activate doppell warrior. Have cards go brrrrr
Warrior, junk, synchron and the stardust zre fun anime cards, and a good base to build a Yusei deck.
Idk for you, but my Yusei anime deck summon a synchro monster in 1-3 turns and later 2 synchro in 1 turn a lot of time with many grave setup.
And useless fack, with only 5DS legendary collection cards, you can build a 40 main cards 13-15 extra Yusei deck with if you want another trap and 1 more synchro in the promo cards. But with 2 main and 2 manga monsters

This jet syhcron shennanigans could be avoided if konami just make needlefiber not generic. That card is the bane of any sychro player.
Nitro warrior seems like it could’ve had more support or monsters. It’s kinda like majest dragon
