Ah, Power Tool Dragon, my favourite of the bunch. My friends kept telling me he wasn't a Signer Dragon because he wasn't dragon type and didn't appear in the opening alongside the other 5, but I never stopped believing in him. Got the biggest grin on my face when I learned about Lifestream Dragon.
Honestly i never understood people's negative feelings towards Leo, the usual response given when asked is that he is childish, but like... that is the point. Leo is a child, a child of which who is much different then the other characters in the show with not growing up in the slums, not having psychic powers, and not having spiritual powers. Leo wants to be more because really his own self worth is not as high as he constantly presents. But really each time a challenge is presented in the series he truly does eventually step up to the plate even without any powers, When he had to duel in Luna's body, when captured by Sayer, when facing the dark signer Dvac, the duel against the sprit in the woods, and dueling with luna against Lester. And each time he grows a bit smarter and a bit more courageous, which all comes together for the moment he finally proves he has the heart of a hero in his duel with jack and luna against Aporia. For as much crap as people give his character, he ironically has one of the best character development in 5DS
He’s annoying, simple as that. Same as Judai, same as Yuma, same as Ai.
I liked Leo, but I agree he is a bit annoying, and people while watching a show is not focusing on looking for character development but for characters they like and enjoy to watch

Luna actually had an archetype in the Manga called "of the forest" but they never got printed
1:30 YES! AKIZA IS NEXT! 3:39 Considering the many plant-type monsters luna used, i am surprised we didn't get a moment like say, Luna borrowing Akiza's Black Rose Dragon (like How Akiza borrowed Yusei's Stardust Dragon).
In hindsight this kinda makes me angry Leo and Luna had themathic synergy with Yusei's and Akiza's decks respectively, and could have developed a more "teacher and apprentice" bond like relationship (Leo with Yusei, learning how to use Synchrons, maybe even getting a Synchron Morphtronic, and Luna getting more Rose cards)

Little late, but I'll die on the hill that Luna's archetype for Ancient Fairy Dragon should've been Naturia. I mean, think about it:
In lore, Naturia, despite their peaceful forms and nature, took up arms against the Worms just like everyone else. Why wouldn't they take up arms against the Earthbound Immortals, too, then? Even if Ancient Fairy Dragon is a servant of the Crimson Dragon, you can't tell me you expected it to be fighting alongside Red Dragon Archfiend against demons.
Spore & Nettles almost effortlessly blend in with Naturia, even if only by being plants, and both fairies & pixies alike, as well as many mythical beasts in general, are closely tied with Nature.
Naturia ALREADY HAVE the capability to summon a Level 7 Synchro in Naturia Landoise. Which if they could make, they could also be able to make the Level 7 Ancient Fairy Dragon too.
Ancient Forest is a field spell Luna uses. Naturia Forest is a card that exists. In addition, Luna's Dark Signer opponent is Devack ("Who?", says you), and he uses a Field Spell that is a DEAD FOREST. Naturia against beings that cause dead forests. No wonder Ancient Fairy hates them, and can even search Naturia Forest with all her friends.
Ancient Fairy Naturia Dragon. Also, Ancient Fairy Dragon would look like some kind of divine being to Naturia Rock, and I am here for it.
Regulus, a Lion monster, is the (seemingly self-proclaimed) Protector of Ancient Fairy Dragon. Naturia Leodrake and Leo, Keeper of the Sacred [Naturia] Tree are giant Lion Synchros. They could easily be older forms of Regulus, and even given a name change to match.
Luna's adorable Nature-based creatures perfectly contrast against Leo's Machine robots. Those two are still Night and Day, even in their archetypes.
Finally, it gives Luna an archetype, and I didn't want to give her Aromages because of some "Life Point focus" with her cards.
I love this idea!! The good thing though is that almost all the signer Dragon's have new forms in recent times- Ruddy Rose, Black-Winged Assault, Power Tool Braver, etc. It's literally a matter of time before Ancient Fairy Dragon gets a/some new form(s). Having them apart of the Naturia would be sick though. Love that idea

Make retrians of her monsters. Maybe a field spell called "ancient fairy forest" or maybe a retrain of her ancient fairy dragon (Great Ancient Fairy dragon)
In the manga she had a watt deck Witch like are low attack monsters with a variety of interesting and most of them can attack directly. But I think my favorite part about her manga deck is it has a field spell archetype that not only tells it's own story but with a theme of early morning to late night cycles to the next one from the deck and or graveyard
Counterpoint; Naturia had its own lore and Luna *went to the Duel Monsters world.*

Yeah, two characters that were there, but never did much until near the end. I especially enjoyed the manga story because Leo was being the big brother in that as well. Still, enjoyed this explained because I liked the Morphtronics like the Transformers! And some of Luna’s monsters were good for early 5D’s decks I was making around that time.
Fun fact : Gadget Hauler even has an Animation in Tag Force, and that game monsters that have summoning animation also have attack animation as well.
Funny you make a diaclone reference when talking about the Morphtronics, when they have more in common with the Microchange ancestry of transformers.
Also, if we're gonna give Luna more support, why not fold her stuff into Leo's morphtronics? Just imagine something like Luna's Fantasy Beasties wearing Leo's machines as Armour and weapons. Maybe toss in a new boss monster fusion of Power Tool and Ancient Fairy Dragons

There is a card missing. The spell card Double Ripple can special summon Ancient Fairy Dragon and Power Tool Dragon from the extra deck by sending a tuner and non-tuner who’s combined levels equal seven to the graveyard.
I think that's a Duel Links Exclusive
That card is anime-only (and exclusive to Duel Links, where anime cards go to actually get used), and Golden Nova usually only takes about TCG/OCG cards.

Hooray for Ancient Fairy Dragon being errataed so she can be unbanned!
My hill to die on is that Luna should be featured in the light-themed Legendary Duelists pack when they get around to that, with cards themed around mentioning Ancient Fairy Dragon, and such would be the perfect time to give Ancient Fairy an errata that makes it possible to unban.
Another thing about earfon the reason that they can be based off the twins is because luna's Japanese name is ruka
How did Leo ever lose, Morphtronics are probably one of the best archetypes to come out of 5ds, barring Blackwings of course

I noticed that even though Luna only used this field Spell during the Arc Cradle arc she did use another field Spell known as Synchro Monument

Ancient Fairy Dragon would do good in Vaylantz. Play one of the 2 fields, pop them both for a quick 2k replenish then put another copy in hand which will play the other from deck when activated
Let’s be honest in regards to Luna.
The fact that most of her cards are just a random assortment of stupid monsters just tells you that her deck had no real focus.
The Only card that mattered at all is Ancient Fairy Dragon and by relation (somewhat) Ancient Pixie Dragon!
Having an Archetype devoted to making say a Level 5 Dragon Synchro tuner to make an Evolved Fairy Dragon would be the better idea.
Or hell, just make a Generic To Summon Super Form of Ancient Fairy/Pixie that can deal out the damage or have field utility.
Konami just needs to do Something besides leaving Luna with only Armored White Bear and Unicorn as the only good Level 4 monsters in her deck. It’s really frustrating that with all these Archetypes or semi-Related cards that they couldn’t come up with a useful and appropriate Deck for Luna to use!
Then, could she have been given the "Naturia" archetype instead? They already have a Level 7 Synchro in Landoise.

Sorry I didn't get back to this response in 7 months, didn't even Realize I got a notification. But YEAH! Hell, Naturia/Fairy-plants would've been a better deal than what she got. I think Konami never thought to ask the 5Ds creator at Studio Gallop if they could give Luna Naturias as her Base Archetype. Honestly, its a real damn shame we never got that level of focus, same for the Manga adaptation since Luna is practically irrelevant.

Fun fact: we ARE getting new signer dragon cards, so new support is on the way for AFD...or at least, support with AFD in the card art that could *theoretically* be used to support it.

I bet someone had a blast designing all these transformers. Celfon (13:28) is classic. Cameran (18:33) is probably my favorite. You'd think to make the lens the arm canon but instead they go for the flash. Datatron is hilarious because the original didn't look like any lighter I've used.
Lifestream Dragon has an additional effect in the anime, where it can modulate the levels of another monster you control
That was only there to get Quasar Dragon.
You know, if they ever make a real archetype for Luna, it should be animal transformers, like from Beast Wars, it would fit well with both her nature theme and Leo's little transformers

Unfortunately... I have a bad blood against Morphtronic because 1 of my bully use Morphtronic Deck... That guy is also the reason for me to lose 100 dollar due to his tardiness..... But after that, reverse bully happens when i use BlackWing Beatdown, Machina + Ancient Gear, & Evil Hero Beatdown...
As for Luna, really wished that she got a Fairy Archetype that focused on both healing LP & burn while searching for equip card on the deck/grave

If Ancient Fairy Dragon would ever come back to the game, it needs an errata to her second ability, maybe make it so it can only add one field spell with a different name, along with a "one per turn, and one once per turn" clause in general.

Honestly the anime didn't do the twins any kind of justice, and their characters and decks weren't given a chance to be fleshed out unlike the other characters. Honestly, they felt like rushed tacked on side characters.

Couldn't you havwas padded out the video by using their cards from the manga? Luna used a completely different deck in the Manga
After having gotten to watch this whole video during my work shift, I have to say that I'm disappointed in you on a few of your entries. Namely, that you made an FF7 reference on Life Stream Dragon but not for Power Tool *Braver* Dragon, and that when talking about Boomboxen's attacking prowess, at no point did you make a joke about how good it is for BEATdown. Come on GoldenNova, do better.
Also, don't forget that not only is Morphtronic Earfon clearly based on Leo and Luna, but Leo is the left earbud and Luna (or *Ruka* in Japanese) is the right one!
And yeah, Luna desperately needs an Ancient Fairy archetype. It's so goddamn easy, just make it a Field spell-based archetype. Like, there's no going back in time and changing the cards she used in the anime, because god forbid a female duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh be competent beyond maybe the main one, but we can at least correct that now and not be shackled to the mistakes of history. At the very least, just errata "Ancient Fairy" onto all the important cards she uses. Whoooooo gives a shit if Regulus is suddenly Ancient Fairy Regulus.
