A tiny bit about myself:
Hi, my name is Ivelisse. I've been artistic and creative my whole life. Unfortunately, it wasn't an easy one. I'm a survivor of many trials and tribulations. It caused me to develop serious mental health issues. I was self-medicating by using drugs and alcohol for over twenty years. On August 1st, 2014, I threw myself at the mercy of the Lord and prayed to God to save me. I asked God to forgive me for all my sins, and I forgave everyone who ever hurt me. I've been sober and clean ever since. Glory be to God! I started my walk with Christ along with my health and fitness Journey, and soon after, I found myself itching to get back to my passion, my art! But: I didn't just want to do it for myself. I wanted to share what God blessed me with and did for me and the joy He brings me to others. Not long after, I created my CZcams channel, DIY No Need To Cry! I took the bottles that were killing me and turned them into art. With each piece I make, I replace a bad memory and create new ones with all of you! Welcome to the crafty fam! God bless you all!

It's called crafting for people like us. It doesn't always look like what we thought....it's beautiful! I
Lol, thank you! :)
I love it. I think it turned out great. what a lovely thing to do to give it as a gift to the lady who sent the napkin. obviously two very nice people.
Thank you! :)
It still looks gorgeous.
You are the queen of bottle crafting.
I love your work.
Awwww Thank you so much! :)
You are more than welcome.
It is beautifully. Give it to her. Thanks for sharing your.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love the way you teach, so glad I watched this before I tried my decoupage.
I think the crackle glaze adds it own spice to the bottle. It is definitely one of a kind.
Lol I agree!
Thank you for listing everything and how you did it not everyone do it. Beautiful!!
You are very welcome!... and the reason a lot of crafters don't list what they use or explain what they did in detail is that other CZcamsrs steal their ideas and don't give them credit for it and pass them off as their own. It's not so much that they don't want to help others. I know because it's happened to me. So happy you liked it, Thank you! :)
all of your videos are so addicting, as if I need another craft. lol
LOL, I'm literally laughing out loud! Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy them that much.
I love it!!! It's so unique and Different!! Their will only be one!! I say She Will Love IT!!!!!
Lol true and Thank you! :)
Your videos are awesome. I'm determined to try my hand at this and am getting together all my supplies. I think its such a beautiful way to repurpose old bottles and your tutorials are an inspiration. Thanks for sharing.
Aww thank you and it makes me so happy when others get inspired by my crafts! Make sure to use the Elmer's Glue All Multi-Purpose Glue for the crackle. If it's any other Elmers it won't work. Let me know how it turns out :)
I think it looks absolutely amazing!! I would pay for that! I am obsessed with your videos I have been binge watching them for like two hours now LOL Thanks for sharing your amazing talent with all of us, you got a new subscriber right here :)
Awwww, THANK YOU, that's so awesome!!... and welcome to the family!! :)
Absolutely Beautiful. Mahalo for sharing.
Thank you! :)
Simply beautiful. Your creative juices runeth over. I hope to try my hand with your magical technique.
Thank you for sharing your expertise. A big hug from me to you. Dolores
Hello Dolores and thank you, I'm glad I could inspire you. As much as I would like to take credit for this technique, I can't. It's a very old crafting technique that's been around for years. However, I do believe I was the first to apply it to a bottle, here on CZcams lol. Thanks again! xo :)
It may be "busy" but I think it would fit into an Italian decor! I've been to Italy twice and those folks really love color! Thanks for the video ~ I never thought of using this technique on anything other than wood!
Interesting, I must go to Italy at once lol! No but seriously, i've grown to love it. Yes, I use a lot of old techniques for my bottle designs. I look at all techniques not just for glass or bottles. :)
I just love this ! It looks Vintage and very pretty !
Thank you Shirley! :)
Simple explanation and very beautiful work
Thank you! :)
WoW! So Beautiful! I am Your New Fan
Aww, Thank you, Isabel! Welcome to the family! :)
OMG, thank you so much, it is such a nice feeling when somebody I do not really know made something especially for me, thanks a million xx
You're welcome, I thought it was very nice of you to send me that extra napkin and wanted to show my appreciation by making you this bottle :)
Defiantly send the bottle because your creativity is a labor of love & life's learned patience✨but remember if you put it out there it will judged 😉 lol. I like the bottle apart from the bumpy bit where you used the wrong brush ha. I always say ' you have to get it wrong to get it right' . May we all shine light in dark corners 💫✨
Hello, I was okay with it being judged. I was asking everyone to because, I really wasn't sure if I should give it to her or not as I myself don't know how I feel about it. On the comments, 3 people say to give it to her but on the pole I put in the video... 3 people say to make a new one lol. I think I will send her the video link and see what she thinks.I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching! Have a great day! :)
Absolutely beautiful!! Unique works well.
I think you done a great job!.Looks very pretty.Mistakes happen.I would be very happy if this was my bottle.....x
Thank you! :) x
Beautiful. :)
Thank you! :)
Beautiful and easy ! Thx. for sharing.
Thank you! YW :)
Wow, just started watching your videos. You do amazing work and make it look easy. This is not a craft for perfectionists, LOL. I just started doing decoupage and you've inspired me to go to the next level with the crackling. Thank you
I love that bottle! Especially the crackle look! Keep it up!
Wow, this came out very well😍
I think it came out beautiful.
The crackle on the glaze coordinates with the crackle on the paint. Although I'm a fan of the evenly dried glassy glazed finishes but this works and I love it, not too busy imo!
Thanks and that's true. It does kind of go with it lol :) I've used the triple thick brush on glaze on other projects and I'm not a fan. I think I'll stick to my spray unless I want the cracked look. :)
Your bottle is beautiful!!!
Love the crackle. Roses are my favorite. ✌️🖖☮️❤️
I think it is awesome and, as you said, unique!! I would definitely give it to her! 👍

Wow...this bottle is stunning! And I appreciate your honesty about not always creating what you had in mind. I've been wanting to try one of these or a long time but never do because I feel like I'll just mess it up. But you helped me realize that it's not the end of the world and I can just start over. Sorry I hope that didn't come off as rude.
I'm so glad my video could inspire you to try! No you did not come off rude at all, I totally get it! :)
Hermoso !!!👍❤️🧉🇦🇷 !!!
Thanks for your replying crackle didn't take place on all of the bottle so i was sad next time i try it
Humm, I don't know why it didn't work all the way around. Make sure you do it in sections that way the glue doesn't dry before getting to it with the paint. I can't really think of any other reason why it wouldn't work for the whole bottle if you did get some cracks.
💖 Gorgeous 💖
so nice
That bottle is beautiful, I would hand it off to her. Good job!
Thank you and I did! She's had it for some time now lol🤗
AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Awesome!... but if this is your first time you should watch this video that explains it in detail. czcams.com/video/f5zsB1aIJbw/video.html 🤗
It looks very weathered and interesting. I learned a lot of techniques watching this video. I’m wondering if you did anything like a stopper?
Thank you and not for this bottle. 🤗
Girl, it looks awesome! We all make mistakes... Your music selection is what keeps me coming back... And your work of course. 💓❤️💓

Absolutely beautiful and thank you for sharing your phenomenally beautiful talent's... I'm 63 and struggling with the choices of my future. I understand your situation and journey through this life... Our path must be chosen with the utmost Care. For it is one that we shall be suffering the consequences of our choice. I have been wandering through out the last 17 years ago as of March. The last of my grandson who would be 21 this year created a chain of events that never stopped until the last 3 years. I have been trying to find the will to live again, the desire is rather strong at this point and I wonder do I have the strength to pick myself up once more again... So many times and so many losses makes you look too deep within the soul it has been a long journey my friend and I wish you the best and I'm very excited to learn and have a new teacher in my life. Blessings make Creator keep you safe and healthy.
I'm sorry you have had to indore so much. I pray the Lord bless you with strength and fills your life with love. Thank you and God bless 🙏❤
@@DIYNoNeedToCry thank you and bless you
Didn't get all the steps but this is very pretty thank you for sharing
Hello, Maxine. I made this video when I was first learning how to edit ( I'm still trying to learn Lol ) but lucky for you this is also when I was still putting all steps in the description box. If you look, they are all there, under steps. Thank you for watching, I hope that helps. :)
Yes and thanks again for sharing
The faster the glue dries, the more crackle you will get. So use fan or hair dryer or even sunlight for extra crackle.
Yes indeed! :)
I loved this video but I missed what you used over the Elmer's glue to get the crackle effect. thank you.
Thank you and it was just the top paint over the wet glue. :)
Love this video I have so many projects I believe hurry up please comment thanks.
And what is the name of that song you are playing. Thank you
Great job and thanks for sharing, i tried the crackle but it was not good . Should i use thin coat of glue or paint. Thanks for replying me.
Hello Janice, What exactly happened? Did you get the cracks but they go to big and messy or did you not get the cracks at all?
Lovely! But I can’t see what the paint dabs at the end did; it l looked like you were covering up some of the cracks? Or were you just dabbing random areas? Thx😀
Beautiful!
😆 Thank you and yes!!... you totally get it! God bless you too!🙏🏼🕊
Loved your bottle! I tried myself but did not get the cradle unfortunately. I did apply a coat of glue and over it, a coat of colour but it did not come still. I would really appreciate if you could give me any tips for the crackle?
Hello, sorry to hear that. I myself have tried it lately and can tell you that it didn't work at first. I did realize however that the only thing I did differently the first two times was used a fan. So maybe that is the trick. Try again but t his time use a fan, hair dryer, or heat gun and see if it works. Test it out on a small spot first, so you don't waste paint. Also, Make sure you're using Elmer's white glue only. Hope it works this time. Let me know if it does and thank you! :)
cute
I'll have it if she doesn't want it...it's beautiful.
Aww thank you! She did end up liking it. :)
Now....who wouldn't?
Love this! I do have a question though, why did you use white paint under the brown instead of 2 coats of brown? TIA!
Thank you! And That's a great question. I find the white base makes color pop more. 🙏🏼🎨 Also, I have better updated videos on this technique incase you're interested in recreating.
I like it, it looks very nice with the glaze. I just started doing wine bottles. I had to go to a bar/restaurant to get some wine or liquor bottles. I put a paper Dallas cowboy star on a small Smirnoff bottle. It looks ok. Is it better to go up and down or side ways as your putting on the decoupage glue. Because I put it on side ways. It doesn't look bad. Also I used paper instead of a napkin. Just trying to practice.
When adding the glue before or after you've placed the napkin?
Well I used paper because at the time I only had paper. So I didn't use napkins. I applied the glue before and after.
I'm still working with the napkins. I've done 2 bottles and showed them to 2 of my friends who thought that they looked amazing, but I see all of the imperfections. like the napkin is wrinkled. lol... but anyways noone is perfect but you do such a wonderful job. 😍
That's awesome!! I bet they look amazing and don't worry about the wrinkles, it happens. Try using less glue before placing the napkin. You also want to spread it out evenly. Once you've placed the napkin... use a crumpled up piece of plastic wrap to lightly smooth it out. That's what helps me. Keep practicing and you'll get the hang of it! Thank you I had to practice so much and I still get wrinkles lol! I noticed that when I glaze it at the end, it hides the wrinkles that are left. :)
O thanks, yes I saw in one of your videos you used the plastic wrap. I will definitely try again soon. 😄
Beautiful napkin, where did you buy them
Thank you, they were a gift from the person I made the bottle for. The link to her shop is in the description box. :)
