    Just started to build, I’m an adult that needs a hobby🤦🏾‍♂️😂😂. Your videos are great!!! Haha & I’ve literally only have watched 2, this is the second!!!
    The way you’re doing it is the way I EXACTLY how I wanted to start a new hobby. As a man who’s tried a lot of things, I’ve always loved to build and mess around with constructing things from wood work to rebuilding vehicles. This is a very (with all intensive purposes) cheap way to start and be enveloped in a new hobby, again, love this & the way your teaching!!
    Keep putting out these videos please, they are inspiring to noobs like my self!! Maybe one day I’ll send some shots of one of my builds😉!!
    Take care and stay blessed brotha!!
    (Also the reason I had to comment, [I never, NEVER do, but I noticed the mistake of you initial measurement at the beginning, the cleat that you left that in and used it as a teaching tool (chefs kiss) golden moment, as it taught me at least, that sh*t is gonna happen, and it doesn’t matter, idk, keep that in and showing non “perfectness” (🤦🏾‍♂️😂) was IT for myself, thanks man!!👍🏾

    Dude, this is totally sweet. Reminds me of all the information I consumed 20yrs ago, for the Mechanical Design degree I never completed. I'm glad I haven't forgotten everything and can still use it to design my own rigs. I have a similar jig drawn on my table for my overland camper trailer build. So far my mistake cuts have made some cool pieces for the rest of the trailer. I'm using a disassembled wooden dish drainer for the trailer box and aluminum channel for the frame. My budget in a good month is $100, so I'm using as much "trash" as I can

    Thanks for the video. Sharpie on the bench is perfect. It's the Isopropyl alcohol you're using that's the issue. I'll guess that's 70%. I use 99% "Fuel Alcohol" or isopropanol in "scientific" squeeze bottles for weld cleaning, cutting fluid, Sharpie and Dychem cleanup. It's the same just that it has less water and you can get it in quart or gallon cans. It makes a huge difference. You can still clean wounds with it. We(I) write target measurements on mills, lathes and vices to not forget numbers. Avoid Denatured or Reagent alcohols because of their additives.

    Awesome video. So glad to see old school ways "coming back" I started RC crawling in early 2000s with TLT or clod buster axles, traxxas stampede/rustler/bandit 2wd with hot glue to lock diffs, custom links from all thread and brake line tubing to sleeve over it, traxxas t Maxx rod ends, stampede/rustler/bandit drive shafts cut, sleeved, glued to stretch. We MADE it all back then. Buy battery cells and bars and make our own batteries to fit in and on axles and wheel wells to transfer weight. Miss those days. Watching this video, thing I may build an old school build from scrap parts I've got laying around and a pro line 55 Chevy Truck body.... thanks for the motivation! Keep up the remarkable and kick ass work!!

    • @eat.sleep.wheel21
      @eat.sleep.wheel21 Před 6 měsíci

      Exactly what I was thinking. Remember when the HPI Wheely King came out and it was "pretty close" to being usable as a rock crawler? The axles were wide enough and the trans was decent. That was a game changer. I still have a chassis that I welded up from 3/16 rod and paneled with a 72 C10 body to make a truggy.
      I like that the bar for entry into the "RC crawling" scene is lower now, but it's a different hobby than 20 years ago when you HAD to make a scratch built rig to go RC Crawling.

    • @josephpacheco7508
      @josephpacheco7508 Před 6 měsíci

      @bluetoy4x4 and we didn't have no 3d printing and such. We were digging thru old toy boxes to cannibalize an old toy for scale parts. My old radio shack trucks often found a say after saving the bodies and tossing the 400 Double A needing rig lol. I think every guy who started rc crawling built a proline c10 rig somewhere along the lines. Lol. And the HPI wheelie king jeep body. Man, the good old days. Especially when you could start getting aluminum axle parts for the hpi w/k axles. But the ring and pinions were super soft pot metal and now harder than heck to find.
