Pokémon Scarlett and Violet do not belong on this list. It is not top tier now. Still runs and looks terrible. They patched it so it was playable, and that’s pretty much it.
Agreed. I always call them The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild with Pokemon done wrong. So many bad decisions, like not adding Wyrdeer, Kleavor, Ursaluna and Basculegion to the base game when it would fit the game’s theme of Past Vs Future. Or Pokemon Company saying that the unknown turtle Pokemon shown in trailers for The Indigo Disk DLC is not Terapagos but is instead ‘reminiscent’ to it, only to contradict themselves when the unknown turtle Pokemon turns INTO Terapagos in a later trailer. The game should’ve been delayed to have more work on it done.

I think they stopped doing outros because it makes it easier on the editors now that they are stitching multiple old episodes together to make new videos. A big reason why I started watching this channel was because of Gills good vibe messages at the end of his content. I mostly listen at work in the early mornings, and having some random person on the internet tell me that I'm an awesome person has done a lot to keep me going lol

It'll be really cool if Microsoft allowed Obsidian to do another Fallout on the West Coast....and with a more reasonable time than the year or so that Bethesda gave them for FNV.
Games get one chance and one chance only with me. If a game is in an unplayable state when I buy it then I return it and never bother with it again. This happened with both Cyberpunk and Street Fighter 5. I'm sick of the free passes that players give developers these days by saying "after 3 years this game is awesome now." If I buy a game today I expect it to work today, not 3 years later.

Fallout New Vegas was always a masterpiece. It’s genuinely incredible. Everyone who plays it adores it.
I found it really hard to get into at the beginning. Probably took me years to finally get into it.
Thats because they're soking the game's flasid-kok just because in manage to get an improvement however in the biggining was anything but. Because it was broken so NO FNV wasnt always a masterpiece so thank for lying your way into this because your not taking anybody for a fool that easily. Not mantion that you were domb enough to not even realise or just pretendint to that a masterpiece game would'nt even be broken in the first place when it came out. Still irks me to this day Cyberpunk 2077 even got nominated for Best Ongoing Game at The Game Awards and Best Continous at the BAFTAs, let alone win both over the far more deserving Genshin Impact.

And they also didn’t do some decisions that would make sense like not adding Wyrdeer, Kleavor, Ursaluna and Basculegion to the base game when it fits Scarlet and Violet’s theme of Past Vs Future. And I don’t care if the Black Augurite and the Peat Block, the items needed to evolve Scyther into Kleavor and Ursaring into Ursaluna were only found in Hisui, Ancient Sinnoh, they could’ve added those items into the base game of Scarlet and Violet. And they could’ve also made Stantler able to learn Psyshield Bash as a level-up move just like in Legends Arceus, as Stantler can only learn Psyshield Bash in Scarlet and Violet as an Egg move, and before the Pokemon Home update that allows you to transfer Pokemon from Legends Arceus to Scarlet and Violet, which you would use to mainly transfer Hisuian Pokemon from Legends Arceus to Scarlet and Violet or transfer Pokemon from Legends Arceus to Scarlet and Violet that knows a move they need to learn and use to evolve, you had no way of getting a Stantler with Psyshield Bash in Scarlet and Violet normally as Psyshield Bash is the signature move of Stantler and Wyrdeer and no other Pokemon in the Field Egg Group can learn it.

I bought New Vegas on midnight release , and I had absolutely zero issues when I played. For a game that was given an extremely short development time, it played great.

Cyberpunk is my absolute favorite game. I even adore doing all the NCPD things. Driving around a rainy nighttime city on a motorcycle is just breathtaking. And using a katana!! Ugh so satisfying

Suggesting that Pokémon scarlet and violet are anything close to “god tier” is ridiculous. The games are still borderline subpar with many issues that have even affected competitive play.
They’re perhaps “good”, but they should’ve been great.
In all seriousness I love the battlefront 2 story. Short but good. The because you asked mission with Luke was solid gold.
Even remastered, Blight-Town in “Dark Souls 1” when I finally played it in 2020 was a nightmare of precarious balancing acts over bottomless-pit falls. I cannot *imagine* how terrible it was for folks in 2011 who had to descend down that poison-purgatory when it was said to be a laggy, glitchy, control-delay-filled 15fps mess… 😱
I'm currently working my way through Cyberpunk 2077, and honestly, there are times I'll have V hoof it if I need to get somewhere that would be either a short drive, or a good walk.
And there aren't many "bad walks" to be had, either: the sea of humanity, the architecture, the lights, the sound of the streetscape... despite it being a world that is, at best, indifferent, and at worst, hostile, there is something darkly seductive about it all.
To be frank, I am almost too scared to start a new game of CP2077, as I fear that once I start I'll never want it to end. The only other game I get that feeling from is Baldurs Gate 3.
@@TheMarcHicksRDR2 is like that for me. I don’t know why, I can’t put my finger on it, but since 2020 (when I bought it) I’ve played it start to finish 3 times. I also just enjoy being in that world, making camp and having coffee to start my day, then riding my horse around just to explore. Some games just grab us and never let go. I’ve put Cyberpunk on hold for years now, but I think I’m ready to get lost in its world.
Scarlet and Violet has not improved in any meaningful way. The DLC was a sad attempt to get even more money without fixing issues in the base game. It's a shame because i really liked some of the new Pokémon designs.
I’m a big Pokemon fan, but Scarlet and Violet SEVERELY hurt my love of the Pokemon franchise. Pokemon went Open-World too quickly.
I'm a battlefield guy, they messed up by not having tdm at the start.
They also screwed up by removing a Rush playlist.

As much as I liked New Vegas, I was kind of annoyed with the ammo system in it. I just want to shoot the gun, not choose certain ammo for certain enemies. So I personally like Fallout 3 more. I know I know, tis sacrilege. I can't help how I feel. Though, there is likely a mod to simplify the ammo system. I think I'll look into that. It is still a great game.
Beats Fallout 4 where you need to have separate guns altogether for normal vs armour piercing. Plus you can craft your own ammo in Vegas.
Video games that everyone used to love but are now sick of.
Cyberpunk 2077 is also notable in that it (alongside accusations of crunch culture, at least in the latter part of its development before release) cost CD Projeckt Red's built up goodwill that they had been accruing for years. The gaming community as a whole seemed to really love the company, especially after The Witcher 3. But damn if the Cyberpunk 2077 fiasco didn't essentially cause the company to immolate itself using their previous positive vibes from the gaming community as fuel.
They've certainly redeemed themselves somewhat (even if it took what, a year or more to properly fix the game?), but Cyberpunk 2077 should be considered the poster child of how this tendency to release games in half-finished states is a huge problem in this modern era since even supposed golden development studios will do it.
So Pokémon S&V is finally fixed now? Really? Cause I’m still not buying that game unless it is actually playable.

New Vegas is the only game I've ever returned. It couldn't go more than 30 minutes without a horribke glitch or crash.
I don't have an opinion on what the "best" Fallout game is. The only one I've sunk ungodly amounts of hours into and keep coming back to is Fallout 3. A good portion of that is nostalgia most likely; I gave New Vegas the old college try but could never really "get into it". I'd always play for a few hours, set it down, and then not really be drawn back to it. Again, not speaking to quality of the game here, but wondering if anyone else had the same experience because I can't really put my finger on why.
I feel the same way to be honest. Fallout 3 was my entry into the series so I'm probably biased towards it but I just find the main story better. I've platinumed both games but I still couldn't get into NV as much as I did 3

I wouldn't say Battlefield 2042 became god-tier because there's too many *underrated* DICE/EA games (including the Battlefield titles). Plus, 2042 permanently damaged the reception of both developer DICE and the Battlefield franchise while EA won the "Worst Executive of 2021" award in my book.
8:40 its fair to note with cyberpunk is if your pc at the time was on there bare minimum recommended the game ran rather well. IMO a good deal was clock speed, as if what it was built for was more console then PC.

You forgot the graphical issues sf5 had. Wire mesh shadow textures etc. I still have the emails from Capcom acknowledging that “that’s how the game looks” and “it’s not broken”. Still got a refund thoug
The sailing was fun in sea of thieves... But there is still nothing to do.... And the PVP stuff was exclusively assholes griefing around the trade ports... Like usually after we had sold off our loot...

How are you gonna say New Vegas without mentioning the outright hostility and bitterness from Bethesda?
That games state had NOTHING to do with Black Isle and EVERYTHING to do with Bethesda kneecapping development.
They slashed the timeframes and broke contract with QA support.
And when it became the franchise darling they show nothing but open contempt and laugh at the idea of letting them do NV2, despite all the devs from interplay (the people who MADE fallout) working at Black Isle.
The games only folly was making Tod Howard envious.

IGN gave Cyberpunk a perfect score at launch, don’t forget! They took the payment from CDPR to give them that score and convinced gamers who rely on IGN to know if a game is worth their hard earned money and told you it was a 10/10 when it was fucking unplayable! Disgrace
To be clear - Battlefield 2042 does **NOT** support single-player. The video incorrectly claims that it does - this is VERY misleading, and should be corrected.

1. New Vegas is so old it has become impossible to play casually, and you are stuck playing the main story so that you finish before the game starts glitching.
2. Easy Anti-Cheat has destroyed Sea of Thieves for everyone except those with the highest-end video cards.
Because these games released broken it’s even more of a reason to never buy them full price

I hate the need for internet I even had a game store person make fun of me over going off about not being able to play a ps4 game I bought not knowing it needed an internet connection and they just told me that’s my fault for not being able to afford the internet

@@thembill8246 The latter. Let’s see, Paldea has four main regions with a fifth smaller region in the middle of it just like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom’s Hyrule. You can use materials dropped by Wild Pokemon to craft TMs, just like you need materials dropped by monsters to upgrade your Armor. But that is where the similarities end. In Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, the enemies are the same levels but become stronger depending on how many Divine Beasts/Temples you’ve cleared, like Bokoblins go from Red to Blue to Black to Silver, but Scarlet and Violet decides to screw all that and have the Pokémon used by NPC trainers and bosses have set levels, which is a big problem because the games were heavily advertised as you being able to do the stories in any order you want, but you will either be very underleveled or very overleveled for the bosses. Like you want to do Grusha first? Good luck, he has a Frosmoth, Beartic and Cetitan that are Level 47 while his Altaria is Level 48. And there is a recommended order to doing all the bosses in all three storylines, and most people just do all three storylines at the same time. Plus, the DLC have some of the stupidest decisions, like not making the Timeless Woods in Kitakami like the places with high magnetism in other regions where you could evolve Pokemon like Dartrix into Hisuian Decidueye or catch Wild Hisuian Pokemon other than Blood Moon Ursaluna. And then there is Pokemon claiming that the unknown Turtle Pokemon shown in trailers for The Indigo Disk is not related to Terapagos but is ‘reminiscent’ of Terapagos, only to contradict themselves in a later trailer where the unknown turtle Pokemon turns INTO Terapagos. Pokémon could’ve just be honest and said that yes, the unknown turtle Pokemon and Terapagos are one and the same. Like when fans guessed that the mummy underneath Hyrule Castle in trailers for Tears of the Kingdom was Ganondorf, they were correct and Nintendo didn’t say they were wrong. Like it was pretty obvious that the mummy was Ganondorf, because he is one of the main trio in the Zelda franchise, so him missing would be not right even though there are a few games where Ganondorf isn’t in like Majora’s Mask. Plus, not adding Wyrdeer, Kleavor, Ursaluna and Basculegion to the base game of Scarlet and Violet really makes me mad when Stantler can learn Psyshield Bash, the move it needs to know in order to evolve into Wyrdeer, as an Egg move when in Legends Arceus, Stantler could learn Psyshield Bash as a Level-Up move. And before the Pokemon Home update where you could transfer Pokemon from Legends Arceus to Scarlet and Violet, you had no way of getting a Stantler with Psyshield Bash normally. Like for goodness’s sake, Scarlet and Violet’s theme is Past Vs Future!

Some of these are were not BROKEN just a bit overjank but still playable. But the ones that did release broken, completely unplayable, or so light on features that it cannot be called a game. Well those studios will not see my money again.

No, BF2042 is definitely not God tier.
Yeah, to me, it's more like D tier. It's definitely playable now, but it still sucks for a number of reasons.
Fallout NV is still a broken and buggy mess. It's not unplayable but sometimes not really fun either.
The framerates on these videos are nauseating...is this standard for consoles? Or in every instance is it due to them being on the list? PCMR.
