He needs to care about money if he wants to get the fights back to Australia........as opponents aren't going to take budget offers to fly to Australia to fight.........they not only want good money but want a premium to go down under, especially when guys like Riakphore, CBS, Okolie etc have no shortage of opponents that they can fight at home and for decent money.

he can fight in his home town no problem but he will be on a fraction of the money if he does at this stage in his career because the rest of the world won't take any interest and won't pay for it
if he hasn't built up any backing anywhere , they can sell the fight to a few of his Samoan mates for a few dollars, Eddie is the guy who knows the business of boxing and has made a lot of boxers very wealthy this guy doesn't have a clue, why do you think boxers like Zhang, Bivol etc don't fight at home and sign with Matchroom, even Canello didn't fight in Mexico until recently for the Ryder fight and he made a fraction of what he would have in Vegas. you cant bring big time boxing to your home town if nobody knows who you are

Jai was only starting and you could see his opponent getting tired. He had that fight like he will every other!) Since then you see nothing but motivation and hard work! I feel Hearns really really hoped Jordan would at least make a good account of himself. Now he'll be looked at as just another domestic level fighter he can't push outside the country.

Great cruiserweight but Jordan Thompson was a walk in the park badly matched by Eddie Hearn this guy is 5/6 levels above Thompson. He is explosive to watch but his defence is very open he has heavy hands and his southpaw stance gives anyone he fights problems. Needs to fight top tier fighter to see how good he really is.

Jai Opetaia to unify the division.
I don't think anyone else in the top-10 beats him.
Dorticos, Masternak, Chris Billam-Smith, Okolie etc.
I think he beats them all.
That performance was brutal, I expected Opetaia to win, but not in such dominant fashion.

Eddie Hearn might know his stuff but what an awful speaker! with a very limited vocabulary and little time for anyone else’s opinion. He may be correct about what is the best way forward but he could have given his fighter a pre fight interview practice, where they appear to be singing off the same sheet. I guess it’s Hearns way or no way! 🙈
