As a Game Developer for 18 years that makes guns for games, I enjoyed this immensely. Metal Gear Solid was the game that got me into guns. Vote goes to Chris.
Gatman is showing why the 80’s/90’s action movie special modernized is still the king. In seriousness though the 92 series is one of those guns that has always been a solid performer that’s been slept on because a bunch of dudes who can’t shoot were forced to carry abused M9s.
@KEV_101the M9 is still the 80’s gun at heart, beat up or not. The rest of the 92 series has moved well beyond that and vastly superior. It sounds more like that 40 with the M16 was luck, the M4 with an aimpoint wasn’t holding you back at all.
I immediately recognized that as a MK3 build in the thumbnail and clicked as fast as I could! They do INCREDIBLE work! Jake’s gun wins with Chris’s in very close second for using that badass optic mount. Great content as always, much love from Texas!
@@Chrisblau I actually have a plan for a custom build similar to yours based on a sidearm named “18 Kelvins” from Destiny 2. It looks very similar to a Glock with that style of optic mount and a suppressor. Hope I can make it a reality someday! The only issue is that the pistol model in the game has absolutely NO trigger guard, so the real version wouldn’t be 100% accurate for obvious safety reasons haha.

Jake accidentally NAILED a Fallout gun. If the world ended in the 60s, the best handgun available at the time was the High Power. Now it's 2024 and you've had 60 years worth of forcing amalgams of old and new tech together, you would get THIS gun.
In (potential) answer to jakes question about the dimpled guide rod on the 92XI: the dimples could lower the amount of surface area that the spring interacts with and "technically" reduce friction with the guide rod spring. How much actual difference does it make? Who knows, but people have done weirder things for less potential benefit. I dont think it would significantly affect reliability either positively or negatively, but it might give the gun a little smoother feel.
One of my favorite channels on CZcams, you guys rock. But for my vote I’m voting for the beretta, a close second place goes to the Springfield. Glock is definitely in the last place.😂

Hands down in video game like gun is the mk3 all 1911/ 2011 guns are widely used in games like hitman, pubg,cod, battlefield and any other fps or shooter game. More or less glock is more strictly towards the fps games and beretta is mid but his set up is amazing.
I’d have to say the Hi Power takes first, easily. Second would probably have to be the Beretta, even though I’d take the LTT Elite from Langdon over the SAO. (My preference for a SAO 9mm would be the Hi Power, or a 9mm 1911) Glock takes last. I’m not a Glock hater, but the other two just have to be higher.
That Springfield/High Power is strait out of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater vibes going on. For that reason it is my #1. The Glock could do a Rainbow Six game and then bottom of the pile for me would be the Beretta 92. While one of the nicest I’ve seen, and I’m sure it shoots amazing, the military just absolutely ruined the Beretta 92 platform for me.
gatman mentioned resident evil and i knew he was my favorite. he did the revolver like the magnum in RE4 (which the berretta was not in) and he had the revlover across his chest like Barry Burton.
I'd say the hi power wins, it looks great, is fairly practical, and it's basically already in a video game as a higher tier am d114 from metal gear solid 5.
