The funny thing is Michael Phelps is actually known for taking certain performance enhancers but it's "for his ADHD" so it operates in a gray area.
USA always so shady and the amount of times their accusations turn out to be just them projecting their guilt onto others..
Remember when they manufactured evidence and accused China of a fake genocide against their own Muslims? Then a couple years later the USA get exposed to be funding Israel's genocide against Palestine? 😂 Suddenly USA and all it's allies silent on Muslim rights. Nothing they say is trustworthy.
Lawyers and lobbyists run the USA while engineers and craftsmen run China. Completely different mindset.

    1. Those who have been genuinely following swimming will know that Pan's performance has improved step by step, and he is the only person in the world who has swum under 47 seconds multiple times.
    2022 Budapest: 47.65
    2023 Fukuoka World Championship: 47.43
    Asian Game: 46.97
2024 Doha World Championships: 46.80 WR
    2024 Paris: 46.92 OR, 47.21, 46.40 New WR & OR
    2. Some swimming enthusiasts on CZcams have conducted detailed analyses of Pan's swimming techniques through videos. His technique is almost perfect. These are the people who approach the sport from its essence and truly love it, no matter where they come from.
    3. Pan Zhanle was not on the list of 23 Swimmers before 2021, as he was less than 17 years old at the time. Meanwhile, the Chinese team is the most tested at this Olympic Games.
    4. For those who might only watch the Olympics once every four years, finding such a performance surprising and unacceptable, why? Because when an American or Australian breaks a world record, it's taken for granted. But if a Chinese or Asian does it, then in the eyes of those arrogant and racist people and their media with pea-sized brains, he is guilty, because how could a Chinese or Asian swim or run faster than us? They can only wear glasses and participate in math competitions like nerds.

I vividly remember when Michale Phelps took home half a dozen golds in 2008 Beijing, my cousin in China excitedly called him a “fish reincarnate”. China welcomed the results graciously; China media did not even attempt to appease to its people’s feelings by accusing him of doping, even though they have a unified state media to do so. U.S. media on the other hand has gotten so used to sucking up to their audience they are more than willing to twist stories around, especially at the expense of a remote country and its people who has no means of arguing for itself.
Decades of misinformation stirred and whirled into a self-feeding propaganda that demonizes and dehumanizes a just and sedulous people.
American politicians love to tell the people it is not their fault; what they fail to tell is that, globalization has long leveled the playing field for all. The same job an American worker loathes is the bread and butter of a Chinese family. They take the job not to jeopardize America, they do it because their survival depends on it; and contrary to popular belief, they do a good job, because if they didn’t their counterparts in Vietnam, Pakistan, India, will do for less.
So Americans, for your own good, stop blaming China for your laziness and incompetence; see them as human beings with every right to happiness and freedom as you, see their hard work not as depriving competition but whose accomplishments are at your disposal and help you combat inflation, see Chinese government as the quiet one the popular kids dislike, but has seldom bothered others, and see the changing world and change with it.

It is true I think. That is the main theory at the moment and we can see it a bit in action especially in free style. On the last stretch when swimmers really go all out you can see those wave entering the other lanes so if you get smacked in the middle between two leading swimmers on your left and right it is almost a big handicap. You are basically fighting against two waves of water coming at you on the front left and front right. The more shallow pool in this olympic has made for a more rocky waters since aside from the waves the other players make the shallower waters makes waters bounce from under you more as well. So leading swimmers has better chance to win. A lot of swimmers early on made the mistake of conserving their energy at the outset and did not have enough to catch up when the waves hit them. I think most swimmers realize this and hence these last two days swimmers are going at it right from the start. Even the sportscasters from 9now Australia commented on this on how swimmers are trying to avoid the waves by immediately getting ahead at the start.

This is such a great breakdown of Pan Zhanle's record breaking performance and his history as an athlete. Australian swimming coach, Brett Hawke should be ashamed of himself. It shows what a terrible coach he is, if he believes Pan's record breaking swim was ..."not humanly possible.." Chalmers should fire him, because Hawke sets a low bar for his swimming students. Brett Hawke's comments are 1000% racist, because he never would have uttered those words if it was an Australian or American or Canadian swimmer breaking that exact same record in the men's 100m freestyle. Chinese people are discriminated against around the world, and you can thank Western governments, their propaganda media, and their society for perpetuating these prejudices. People are not born racist; they are taught to be that way through systemic biases and negative portrayals. It is disheartening to see that even in events meant to celebrate unity and excellence, such as the Olympic Games, Chinese athletes face mistreatment. The Olympics should be a platform where the best athletes from around the world come together in the spirit of fair competition and mutual respect. Instead, witnessing multiple instances of unfair treatment towards Chinese athletes highlights a broader issue of racism and discrimination that needs to be addressed. It is an absolute shame that these athletes, who have worked tirelessly to represent their country, are not given the respect they deserve.
