Oxford Heated Grips V8 Controller Repair

My Heated grips went up in smoke, so I decided to see if I could work out why they did this, and if I can repair them.

Is this a PWM type? Can I use it as a controller for my heated seat on the motorcycle?

Quite possibly. There are microchips in there. I would imagine it works by limiting the current, so at full hit, it allows it to draw 3amps. And lowers the draw as you go down.

​@@r6stu no it's not limiting. It's waving the current. Like on for 2 sec and off 1 sec.
