Beautiful German masterpiece. Greetings from Poland
I've worked in Auto Production and Engine Production for the Big 3. This BMW facility is Amazingly Clean and Meticulous. The Machine Line work with all its operations is quite hypnotizing from this view.
Einfach WUNDERBAR ARBEIT-VIDEO!!!
Macht weiter so!!!!Deutsches wagen sind IMMER EIN TRAUM!!!!
👍👍👍👍
Every part brand new 😁👍
This is very detailed video of manufacturing assemble process. it would have been even better if you dropped some text at each process what they are doing..
Superb retrospective!
I love things when they fit perfectly
Given that these things appear to fit so perfectly it is hard to imagine why BMWs are so terribly unreliable.
Germany 🇩🇪 is so beautiful peace and green country I am love Germany more and more
You're a fool, like the USA is some sort of Hollywood.
👍👍👍👍👍
Love that these are diesel engines. Love this video
I think this is a basic flow of manufacturing a car - Fabrication ->Chassis -> Frame -> Engine (molding, cast, machining)-> Transmission -> Axils -> Differentials->Braking systems ->Wheels -> Paint job
soo clean
Best ever.
Du bist wunderbar. Ich bin stolz auf dich. Grüße aus Algerien

Ausgezeichnet 💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Dankeschön bruder
Now i see and remember the production engine mercydes west Germany and Autria the jeep G W ( Glande Wagon )
Thank you for the video, and the process of making Peoples .
It's always great to see German engineering at work whether automatic or manual, particularly at BMW... They are always over an age of automobile technology....
Over engineered to make sure they fail.
👍👍👍👍
I had a guided tour of the BMW factory in Munich where they built the 3 series in the early 1980's. It was amazing. All I saw was a conveyor belt with body parts going round, then saw the cars in a wind tunnel. The tour lasted three hours and the guide was a Scotsman who had moved to Germany in the 1950's. He showed us a new machine and said it would replace a lot of workers. Our group comprised of me and my wife (English), two American couples and a Canadian couple and they asked what will happen to the workers. Now remember this was the 80's and he said "We will send them home". Back then they were known as guest workers (in English, anyway) and said they could probably retire on the severance package.
Yes. Automation. Replace people with machines. There's some good and some bad in that.
"conveyor belt with body parts going round" sounds pretty metal
Can someone go and watch the process of making this amazing vehicle's?
I've heard you can with a small pay.
AMAZING
Would have been great to see the entire manufacturing process from casting to first rough machining. The casting of the block and heads is such an important part of the engine making process I'm surprised you didn't show this.
They didn’t show it most likely because it wasn’t advantageous to show a bunch of Chinese workers producing their rough castings and forgings.

Great vid behind the scenes… but no safety glasses while using air blower on cylinder head at about 49:30 ??

Osha would have a Hey day with this operation no safety glasses at all that's crazy.
They don't need it.
These jobs are so stupid BMW hires only blinded guys.
But their guide dogs have to wear safety glasses and safety footwear.
It is a pleasure to watch the robots produce the timed bomb engines.
I was working in Bmw Company in Munich, the Job was horrible and they gave me a very hard job in Motor assemble parts and I 've realized that most of my colleagues are upsets in that part. even, after one month I have severe pain in my hand and my feet, therefore I told them that I feel pain in my hand and I cant work in this much pressure, so they put me out and they didnt care ...Please dont go to this company
set for expiration at 48 months or 50K miles. You are on your own after that. The dud is yours.
@@carlosponchio1869 BMW engines are fantastic what bs are you spewing
Hahaha. They certainly have that reputation.
You would have to have been living under a rock to not know that BMWs have a terrible reputation for reliability.
The X5 is about as reliable as a Range Rover. The worlds 2 least reliable luxury SUVs.

I love Germany becoz Germany people are very hardworking and automobil industry is very strong in all over the world such as bmw etc I love Germany and want to visit Germany 🇩🇪 but I have not more to go Germany but all things that made in Germany is very powerfull and 100 percent sure work
correct! the perfect engineering machine. TOP of the line
looks peaceful. not many have knowledge on how to service these engines. they are easier to service than japanese engines i find and less time to do it. out of curiosity i asked a dealer how much to change something internal as the part was worn. quoted me 1200 for part and 1500 labor. my local shop had no knowledge. i went online got the original part for 250 new did the labour myself. when you don't know people in that industry or don't have time that will cost you.
That is pretty obvious that if you don't know a certain industry you are screwed.
nice BMW engine production # 👍🇵🇰

DEUTSCHLAND !!! just imagine these awesome sparkling engines...all they need to stay that way is to follow BMW service instruction: change the right oil on time and coolant the same and the engine will NOT break down, period.
cool tools
bravo👏, put timing chain on the back of the engine wow that is great for mechanics and peoples pockets . thanks bmw
Agree... Regards.
@Jasmin Bjelja - I may be wrong, but I think that you were looking at the chain-driven oil pump, not the timing chain.
just check out N47 engine .
@@Jasmin-oi6rx - you’re correct, I apologise! Mind you, it isn’t the first engine that had to be removed from the car in order to replace a timing chain!
They assume that a timing chain is a lifetime thing, and it is, in the vast majority of cases. However, in the cases where it doesn't last te life of te engine, such cars usually get sent to the junkyard. Bad timing chains have been the end of many VW VR6 powered cars.
Nobody reaches the top of Germany in the industry
yea, but their cars are too expensive for most people. And most BMW engines need major service/overhaul at 100,000 miles.
@@_Wai_Wai_ Many people can afford a VW. However, they are usually better off without one.

Ive always heard that BMW engines werent worth squat. They leak like crazy.
Well I have had a bunch of Bimmers and that is def a constant among the different series I have owned. 1991 M3, 1995 325i, 1998 528e, 2004 635i, 2006 M6, 2008 535i.
Yes, I can't think of a BMW engine that wasn't leak prone. I have no idea why they have such a hard time doing so, Most Toyota engines are leak resistant for a lot less money.
@@skylinefever Hench the pan that most BMW's have installed beneath the engine to catch all the fluids leaking out.
Don’t worry , you couldn’t afford one

elektri auto käib eesti töölisele üle jõu, viimane töö mida suudab on kilu karpi ladumine.
Some of the scenes seem to be around 2000 und some are more actuall. This video is a mix of clips from complete different years. So some production processes shown there don't fit the actuall modern standart, just because some video material is so old.
I am surprised that they are working in short-sleeved T-shirts even though they are in an engine plant.
In Japanese factories such as TOYOTA, it is mandatory to wear long sleeves and helmets even when the temperature is 35 degrees Celsius and the humidity is 80%.
Long sleeve shirts can get get caught up on moving parts
At BMW they drink a lot of beer while putting the engines together. That is why the engines are so legendary.
that sounds fun

If it's like most manufacturing facilities, the workers can't afford to buy the products they make. Especially automobiles such as BMW, which are nearly double the price of entry level economy cars.
Probably a bunch of Ford Fiesta’s
@@FreshlySnipes That's a smart play!
Il motore in produzione e' del 2008.
I wonder why they dont make the whole engine out of plastic instead of making only 75% out of plastic. It would have several benefits, not for us customers but for the company, less production cost so they can charge us more and im pretty sure there would be no difference in reliability..
Anh là người sao Hỏa à ?😁
Depending on the type of engine and application it will be used for, there are regulations that prohibit the use of plastic for certain components on an engine. Of course engine companies would love to reduce production costs, but there are also regulations to adhere to as well as performance of the engine to be mindful of. Lastly, many want to be a part of the "green" economy and be as environmentally conscious as possible (believe it or not).
🥰😍💚
3 shifts a day, 24/7 in demand if possible
