Hey this is Ace. I was so scared people wouldn’t understand my story but you totally 100% got it! You are so good at this. I have enjoyed your recaps this season. Thank you for the hard work and getting us. I know we are all such weirdos. But anyways that made me feel better hearing your thoughts, I love Brad and was just positive he was going to want to go in, but I haven’t done a lot of these over the years so I’m still learning. Ace and Cara are an interesting duo/partnership because Ace is so unserious and Cara is a lot more serious about the game and she’s probably working out all the time and Ace is just always sleeping on the couch lol

Plus Ace just never was very duplicitous in the game. Come to think of it Cara is connected to Adam through Abe lol.
@@cambricjimenez4882 oh wow! It all makes sense now haha. I honestly jumped into the challenge after fresh meat so I missed Ace's run but from what I'm seeing here, the guy is hilarious. I really like him and Cara as a pair.
I liked the episode, no Laurel and Nicole, no Cara Maria and Kam drama, seeing that the other contestants have a leading role for once, and I loved Adam's first victory in an elimination (Remember that he only made one elimination against Derrick Kosinski and lost), and I loved seeing the more sentimental side of Ryan, which is also important to remember that there are people who had their internal battles and who have been sober for 8 months (currently it has been 2 years), I generally like I liked the episode
Love Adam! I think he adds some good guy energy to the show and I love that.
How is spelling "Fortress" and "Reykjavik" remotely similar difficulty? I hope that was a bad edit and not asked in the same round like it seemed to be.

I really did want a head banger here with it being Adam vs Brad. It was pretty obvious Adam had the edge here in a mental challenge, he'd win 99/100 mental elims over Brad.

Cara is the only one who has started from the start and I think it's because instead of aiming to win she aims to go in the middle group so she can control who goes and most likely wouldn't steal her star.
The same strategy was also used by jonna in all stars 3 up to the point where they had 6 winners when she didn't win first so she did not have to sabotage anyone but came in second or third so she is ultimately safe

My problem with the trivia is that some of the questions were guaranteed strikes. There's no skill when the are asking you to spell some African game that no one has ever heard of

Can we just talk about how well Veronica is doing this season? She's had some classic Queen Vee moments and confessionals and it makes me so nostalgic for the old days of the challenge
I think she’s sneakily in much better shape this season. We’ve seen her actually running on the treadmill and even though Adam helped her up the hill on that bobble head challenge, she made it up there at the same time as the rest of her team and wasn’t visibly gassed or anything.
Tough season for Brad he should've been one of the favorites to win this season but it was rough hopefully he's all good now and comes back with his head in it
I feel like this goes back to All Stars Season 3 when he panicked and made Wes go down to elimination for him. Just the thought of going down to elimination made him panick. He needs to see somebody about that

Cara Marie has been a star-holder for 7 episodes and 9 eliminations so far. **Icon**. Id love to know whose held a star the 2nd longest but don't think its been more than 4 episodes.
Correction: Steve stole Brandon's star at the end of episode 1, so he's also right there with Cara. Veronica(eps 4-7) and Rachel(ep 1-4) have held onto their stars for 4 episodes each

@angelcake I'm surprised you didn't talk about how bs some of the spelling "trivia" questions were. I put trivia in quotes because spelling isn't really trivia. But some people had to spell words like MISSION while others had to spell Reykjavik (yes I had to look up how to spell that!)

I really loved how The Challenge gave Ryan his moment to share his sobriety & how these challengers are supporting him. The trivia was boring but the music during the segment was 🔥 and all I can remember besides the fact why did some challengers have super hard words to spell while others had super easy words. I love how Adam was determined & focused to get his ⭐️ This season was for sure not Brads but hey, he gave us the hand towel moment 😹

For the trivia on this episode, I think the questions were about this challenge because TJ did same from the beginning “this challenge is meant for anyone to win”. It would be contradictory if the questions were “on Inferno 2, which player did…” because at that point only Veronica, Tina, and Brad could have answered those questions.
With Ryan talking about his rehab journey, I was scared he was gonna be eliminated this episode.

I’m confused why Cara is being perceived as playing a selfish game. Adam hit the nail on the head when he said kam is the puppet master. Kam and Leroy seem to woo people with their love story etc and people don’t see that they would throw anyone under the bus to win. I really like Leroy and that has nothing to do with it. I personally don’t like how kam gets a pass for her behavior and Cara gets scolded and treated differently. It’s probably easier for most to say they’d rather go head to head with kam vs Cara in a final.
THey are playing the exact same game as Tori/Brad did in Cutthroat. And it doesnt look like people have learned jack crap since then. Everyone sat back letting those two run the show and cosigning their moves, Paula especially. THen they wanted to cry when Brad/Tori turned on them. Like get Kam and Leroy out now while you still have the numbers, but cowards gonna cower, I guess.

I think its the combination of the entire house usually liking kam and leroy (esp leroy), plus the fact that very few people could beat them in an elimination. Because no matter what you plan, if you cant beat them in an elimination, it doesnt matter. And their track record kinda speaks for itself.
Thats how laurel ran the game for her first few years on the show. They could plot all they wanted, but as long as she won eliminations, she ran the game.
@@Buddhakingpen Laurel is elite though. She only has 2 solo elimination losses and one of those was on a flawed game. Laurel has taken out the likes of Camila/Cara/Aneesa. In solo play Kam's taken out Natalie and Ashley M both suck in eliminations. Cara, Laurel, Nicole are all capable of taking out Kam. Avery has a good shot in anything not weight based. Kam doesnt want to go against those girls. Looks like the plan is to have LeRoy go against one of the many weak dudes and gift Kam a star from a strong girl....which is rubbish game design.
@@cambricjimenez4882 At this point, yeah i think post pregnancy kam could lose to these girls in purely physical eliminations. Keep in mind though, this season is built for anyone to win, so they incorporate more equalizers like puzzles and memory both of which kam is good at. And lets not discredit my girl. She also beat tori. A future champ. And carried a sandbag kayleigh for a whole season. And controlled a game for multiple players and not just herself for a season. I dont think her and leroy making a plan for leroy to get her a star on a GUYS WEEK is exactly the worst gameplay lol. Literally just last week she said "i'll make it easy for you guys, you can send me in" and cara blocked it.

I never understood why the challengers never seem to try to tuck and try to cannonball when they're being thrown into a water.
I love the trivia questions about the challenge house, cast, dailies & elims. Brought back inferno 3 trivia vibes.
I enjoyed the episode. It was a little tame, but still with a lot to talk about. Some of those questions were totally meant for people to get it wrong.
The only people that are playing this game hard seem to be Cara, Kam, and Leroy. The others seem to be along for the ride. Do the other players realize that if Cara, Kam, Leroy, and Laurel are not eliminated none of them have a chance at any money.
Does Brad just zone out during the instructions for challenges and eliminations? How many times can he mess up based on misunderstandings? Even if he didn’t mess up the order for the pattern in the elimination, he kept resetting the code, so it didn’t even matter he screwed up the order. Same with the challenges the past 3 weeks. What is he doing?

THe second I saw how stacked the girl’s side was and how crap the men's side was...I immediately thought "man they are trying to hand this to Leroy on a platter” to make some post-retirement victory narrative. With his only competition being Tony/Brad. Production accommodates Kam’s nursing instead of just going using the alternate (sus). Tony has to leave. And then Brad has forgets how to chew gum and walk at the same time. Also notice that Brad is always paired with one of the strongest girls when he flops: Racheal, Laurel, and Cara. Brad is taking dives : and if you think "Brad wouldnt dare", remember he made a deal with Evan on Duel 3 and didnt mind almost screwing Rachel out of 1st place to fulfill it. He also lied to Coral about trimming the fat Gauntlet .

I would have loved it if they had previous all stars season questions rather than spelling.
It was nice to see the cheat code elimination but wish it was more physical once. Happy Adam once cause at least we know he is a good contender rather than Brad fumbling this season. I knew Leroy wasn’t going to volunteer, he’s a likeable Nicole in my opinion. He can make a final and do all things physical but he’s done when there is a puzzle involved and I mean a real puzzle not like the elimination he did.
Rooting for Adam and Avery this season so its cool they have a good friendship and i dont have to chose between them. Hoping Adam goes all the way hes a standup guy and deserves it!
This season is showing Brad's spiral. Not surprised he was performing so badly after his 39 showing and recent social media outbursts and interactions 🤡
I was surprised by the Ryan misdirect. After the introduction of his sobriety journey, I thought he was gonna be nominated. Then after all the focus was put on him after the challenge, I thought for sure he was gonna be eliminated.
Ryan is forever “I’m not ready to go to elimination”! Once again this is an elimination he had a great chance to win. Especially since, historically, trivia challenges are almost always followed by a strategic elimination…
Sad to see Brad go but he clearly wasn’t in it this season
I hate how everyone treats Cara. I feel like she’s getting picked on especially in next week’s episode. She doing amazing this season as expected. Veronica saying oh I would never want to work with Cara. She’s not a smart player. Kam getting annoyed because Cara didn’t go against Rachel. Laurel again yelling in Cara’s face. Nicole talking hell’a shit about Cara and how she’s slow. I’m just not feeling it. I like laurel but she needs her ass beat one good time. Then maybe she would stop yelling and getting in Cara’s face. She’s done this i don’t know how many times in past seasons.

Do you guys ever really think about it for a second , if 10 people have the same problem with you how is it that they are wrong and not you??? Doesnt that mean you have to change something?? Despite the hero edit they give her , she is not without fault .
Well, some of the cast have admitted that Laurel went around telling people not to trust Cara which is why many have been against Cara. So those that listened to Laurel are playing into Laurel's gameplay. Which means if Cara is out then the final would be easier for Laurel to win.
The only girl that people are looking afraid to face in the finals but it should be both Cara and Laurel since both are champions and strong.
I am so happy Leroy decided not to compete and get Kam a star. Kam just doesn't deserve one at this point and Leroy makes me so disappointed by his willingness to rob from Cara to appease Kam. I get that they're together and all but Cara has had a friendship with him for years. At best, I'd think he'd leave the girls to duke it out themselves.

Wtf was ace’s story
I felt there was some riggery when Jay/Nicole got to spell 'mission' while everyone else is getting these complicated city names! Not the biggest deal, this was overall a fun episode but agreed that its well over the midway point so the fun and calm is evaporating quickly as they are getting closer to the finale. I like that we got more of Ryan's storyline it almost felt like he was going to go in because of how much screentime he got but it was a better buildup of if it would be Ryan or Brad going against Adam. I do feel like this subtle Jay/Ryan rivalry is being foreshadowed throughout the season making me think those two might be in a elimination against each other in the future. Ace was also finally given more storyline proving hes been pretty good socially this time around but is it all going to backfire again on him?
I honestly felt so bad for Brad. He is such a great competitor, this just wasn't his season. I would love to see him back though.

I love the bond between Cara and Ace I think they have a really nice friendship I won't lie I didn't notice they always worked together until Ace said it in musical chairs challenge. But I do think they make a great team and seem like really good friends.
I find it hilarious that Veronica stopped with Cara the moment Rachel left and was anti Cara. Granted I know she only worked with Cara because Rachel did but now that she knows Cara is the most hated in the house she knows she can't work with her.
As for Adam I love him. I was happy to see him do so well.

Huh? He's pretty much been the frontrunner in every all star season he's been on. He does end up dropping the ball, but season 2 with jodi they were the dominant team all season until right before the finals, and season 3 he came in second place! He's still good. He's just an airhead.

Cool breakdown, Brad's performances finally caught up with him. Unfortunately, he won't be able to win The Challenge anymore and is past his prime; specifically, Brad is all brawn and no brains. In another note, the trivia challenges aren't my cup of tea to be honest (it felt like Veronica & Leroy got really easy questions). Congratulations on Ryan's sobriety, but I feel he used that angle to keep himself from being nominated for the elimination (and it worked).
Ace is kind of an idiot, and revealed who he wanted for nominations; oddly enough his story actually played out lol. Secondly, Tina is such a nightmare in deliberations (I know she doesn't want blood on her hands, but she should've voted for Ryan). Also, the cheat codes elimination was cool (all memory-based; I knew Adam was gonna win as soon as I saw it). So most of the stuff has been group challeges Brad won the one he did alone. Too many group ones. Also as much as I like Leroy hes never been a big winner or a heavy hitter. Hes always been the one people kept along because they knew he wouldnt win.

I enjoy watching your videos but please do not spoil the following weeks episode. I'm one of those people that purposely does not watch the coming previews but luckily I was able to stop your video before you spoiled next week's episode.
This episode was a little boring. Felt bad for Brad but he didn’t bring anything to this season for me. Not ready to see Lauryl yell at Cara next week-she’s not a nice person.
I think this is one of the worse elimination drops. If I was in the second group it woulda been a hard NOPE after seeing them fall.
Especially since they weren't just dropped. They were flung and had little if any control over how they landed. Looked ouchy.
