  • Welcome to Travel Adventures Australia. Lake Dyer is locate on the Gatton/Laidley Road, a few kilometres west of the town of Laidley in Queensland, Australia. The Dam and the recreation area is open from 6am to 5.30pm 7 days a week. Check the signs.
    Lake Dyer is not the most Pet Friendly Day Area, because there is so many limitations and confusing information boards.
    Dogs must be on a leash at all times
    Dogs at not permitted in the lake.
    No dogs in camp ground.
    At the dam you can enjoy:
    BBQ's, shelters and picnics tables
    Camping (at private camp ground)
    Swimming in designated area
    Boating: Motorised and Non-Motorised permitted on the lake
    Canoeing, Kayaking and Rowing
    Sailing
    Water skiing, Jet skiing, wakeboarding and tubing
    Fishing: permit required
    There is strictly no access to dam wall
    Over night stays are not permitted at the lake.
    Camping:
    Powered and non powered sites.
    No dogs in camp ground
    Maximum 7 night stay
    $30 refundable bond for shower gate key
