I feel like the american destroyers are very well rounded. You get a minute + smoke screen and moderate torp damage and torp speed. Where the other factions dont focus on smoke screens. they focus on torp damage and torp speed
Yeah the Americans get crappy torps until Upgraded Benson but the guns keep them competitive

Now, the Fletchers have insane AA capabilities.
The reason they turn is because they are looking at the counter that says how many are aiming at them. As soon as it falls and then increases shortly after, that often tells you a DD has switched to torps then back to guns. So if you're thinking a DD is around then it's likely he's launched so you can start changing course.

Enjoyed partaking in a Game Wednesday July 24th with yourself managing a Iowa. I was using the British Tier 6, LessOneLeg. Same old, same old complaint. I was laying three salvos into a Japanese Mogami, and nailed it, but got Zeeked on score or wiping it out.
Thought I’d try the fletcher because of this, first game .. kraken. It’s pretty good..

I am a rookie in this game... I love DDs... I love the torps. BUT, the more you play and progress in this game. The more you notice that you won’t be able to shoot your torps.
Yes DD’s role, spot, etc. etc. Killing ennemies ARE NOT your priorities. That’s for the “standard” way of playing.
Therefore this DD is awesome, its guns are 🔥. And torps are always a good “bonus”.

That's me and Battleships. I love the things, but I kind of suck at them, and my team usually leaves me to defend myself against a Battleship, an Atlanta, plus like 4 destroyers. I either get over 100k damage or like 9,000 damage lol.

the fletcher is the most dangerous DD in the game and it is historically correct !
You can check the CACTUS task force that operated in the pacific during WW2
I like the balance it offers between good torps and the awesome guns

There are gunboats and torpedoes ships
The fletcher has both qualities. The canons are cycling quickly and the torps have 9.2 km reach.
Thus ,if you are caping you will encounter a dd and you will damage it badly with the canons.
The lightning has sonar, it is a plus if you want to stay in the objective even behind smoke. But in a gun duel against the fletcher it would be a “ delicate situation “ :)
For the record, I have them both and I change my game plan accordingly :)

The Clemson is my favourite destroyer , low reload time for torps is excellent
I’m up to level 6 in us and the Clemson is easily my favorite
@@Bohdisattva326 yep it's top class , I don't really like the Farragut or Mahan , which I have , im not gonna spend credits on any more destroyer's because I don't see the point. The Clemson is just too good
I have the kidd, it’s pretty sweet. Survives almost anything. It’s like a super Farragut. Find myself the only one left standing at the end of a match with 5 ships chasing me after teammates get melted Lol. I think one of the high tier USA D is a torp boat Going to grind on

@Smith-Mundts Modernization Act (Look into it) hope it works well for you but I like the 2 lots of torps either side of the Clemson , I think the Mahan only does 2 and 1 , and I've been caught out a few times thinking I was still in the Clemson.
I had to take a one day break from WoWs, I was just getting into constant games where I was spotted instantly and 5 people were shooting at me. I play in the Hipper and it’s not very good when you have the least amount of health in the cruiser family, and your turtle back armor around your citadel is pretty much useless against other battleships. Hopefully that will all change today. Have a good one spartan, see you on the seas, and maybe I can get revenge for you destroying my Scharnhorst

It is very fristrating when the battle ends just before you get a kill. I lit a british battleship on fire in my Konigsberg last night. Just as I was about to fire the final salvo to finish him off, the battle ended. I was left staring at the results screen with my four kills at the top of the leaderboard. Robbed of a Kraken...

Best us destroyer by far I got all us battleships now just need teir 5 6 and 7 destroyers and the teir 6 new orleans and tier 7 baltimore
Got the t4 German Destroyer oot the crate, and I don't know how to feel. I'm a battleship guy, but torso are kinda fun

The T-22 is extremely fun. Don't let WG lure you into wasting Global XP on upgrades. I made that mistake. Currently, the German DD's, though fun, are kinda dead end. Once you get the current one fully upgraded, the next one of the TT is unavailable.
I got a tier 5 German destroyer from a crate. I just got the tier 4 yesterday.
The T-22 is loads of fun, and plays similar to its British and American counterparts, ambush torping.
They should add a team death match but one life only
Well done. Yeah, the Fletcher is a little underwhelming most times. I find that playing the support role, hanging with your battleships and cruisers, usually pays off more than contesting caps. Alternatively, playing the lone hunter, sneaking into the enemy spawn area and flooding those Battleships that like to sit back and snipe, becomes filthy fun. This is doable when there's multiple DD's on your team. As American DD's go, in my opinion, the Mahan is the most fun. Finally, who's your American DD commander in this?

On trident capping B early is a death sentence. The entire enemy team has shots on you if the enemy destroyer detects you

My tear 7 Japanese destroyer legendary status 2 I am a nightmare to battleships visibility is under 5 and my torp speed is 71knots and we don’t even want to talk about the kamikaze lol in world of tanks I was a lite tank player kinda the same

I'm not that good with destroyers they die too easy. Does anyone know if Xbox One and Xbox One X play together or are they on separate servers?

How can your tell weather you're detected or not?
Top right side of the sight you'll see an eyeball pop up or a plane. Eyeball means a ship has direct line of sight on you plane means you're spotted by aircraft

Still not pay to play though, more play lower tiers to earn enough to play higher tiers and/or play lower tiers to earn enough to buy higher tiers.
It's not bad if you can get some good matcha but sometimes there's nothing you can do.
I think we all know that it's deliberate by WG, I personally don't agree with it as it stops allot of players from enjoying higher tiers (only occasionally playing them) if WG want players to play other tiers they should make the other tiers enjoyable to play, which I think they are tbh.
I can see were they care coming from though, some people think getting to top tier and playing just that is the point of the game.
@@lankymk ya I enjoy going down for a tier 6 or 5 match not always 7 but, i dont want it to easy to have everyone not fully understand how to play be in a tier 7 match and always just rush and die atleast in my opinion

I don't understand how you are able to see through the smoke, let alone how you're able to see a ship target. I know not top use smoke then

Fletcher is not meant to be your ship, you are more of Iowa as big or as small of a lightning.
Please make a video just on what is wrong with this game ( cant aim guns with out looking ) ect.....

They need to add variants to the game, not just ships and things to buy with real money. I sent suggestions but no reply.

@@SpartanElite43 when enemy sinks a boat, survivors are in life boats. Every life boat has a timer, pass on it before zero and get some HP + extra skills ( to be defined)
Random targets on islands that if hit give team points
Very different collision consequences than how they are now
Possibility for cruisers to place mines. How and who can see them to be defined
