her ponytail will NOT cause her to lose her hair again because the front of her hair line is not being pulled people. Her hair is short in the front. it is just laying down. most African American women get traction alopecia from braids. Whether it is a braided style or braids for a sew in weave. Not from ponytails. the hair in the front is simply not long enough to be pulled into the pony tail. It's called edge control and gel that lays the edges down.

We talk in terms of hairs, not grafts. For a true comparison, it’s impossible to base a decision on a per graft method unless you know the number of hairs per graft, which varies by clinic.
In a single hair graft scenario, 3,000 grafts equals 3,000 hairs. In a double hair graft scenario 3,000 grafts equals 6,000 hairs. Most people have no idea how many hairs per graft doctors and hair restoration clinics are providing when researching.
That said she received 6,000 hairs in total.

Normally after 3-4 weeks scabs have subsided.

The donor area is sutured closed only leaving a paper thin segment. At a half-an-inch hair length our physicians guarantee nobody will see suture line/donor area. With some patients the suture line is virtually undetectable after a few week with others it could take longer to heal/fade.
