- Johnny Manziel reveals how much money he could’ve made in the NIL era:
“I got $700 a month coming in on stipend. That ain’t enough… Probably $10M a year. I could’ve done $5M on my own with the Instagram.”

10mil might be low. People outside of Texas don’t realize how huge Manziel mania was …
I was there. It was insane
Oh naw we know how big he was. That’s why that statement ain’t cap
Casuals didn’t know.
Johnny Football got me into CFB, and I’ve lived in Michigan and Maryland my whole life
No doubt he would've given Livvy Dunne a run for her money
When Johnny Football beat Bama, he was THE SHEEEAATTT....the making money sign was his calling card and A&M was rocking every saturday
Get a grip on yourself man dam
Johnny would’ve had at least 30 or 40. He was the MAN in Texas Football.
I'd be bold to say $50 million. Johnny Football had the Tebowmania type of effect from 2012-2013
@@isaacannanjr2371 Johnny clearly stated in the vid that he had connections to just about ANYONE in his phone from COLLEGE STATION 😂😂😂😂😂 that speak volumes lol he could’ve for sure had that kind of money. Not even the cowboys were bigger than Johnny and that was from a 3-4 year span.
Cool down
HOW was he the man? He only had one great year come on man make it make sense
Nothing compared to Jimbo Fisher and his 76 million to retire
Johnny literally built that stadium. I can see minimum 20 mil
Yup
That's wild but true
This man had the world at the tips of his hands shout out to humble manziel
He’s not lying. If NIL was around, he could have walked out of college football with $30-40 mil in the bank. He was that big.
Yup
Tim Tebow, Johnny Football, Coach Prime, Reggie Bush would 4 on my Mount Rushmore of college football HYPE in the last 25 years!!!! not talking skills, championships not talking about any of that, just HYPE!!! Would you agree?
@@the77th I agree. All 4 of them would have cleaned up if NIL was around back then. And they need to give Reggie his Heisman back.
@@King_osei for real! He’s the Scapegoat for what was a dirty game being played by almost everyone! NCAA dirty AF
@@the77thBro Prime wasn’t in college 25 years ago. Wtf you talkin about
Only the real can relate! Johnny is forever invited to the cook out!
The real 😂😂😂 and you must mean your ghetto cook out
cook out?😂😂😂😂😂
That's why you gotta give props to Lebron, dude had it all at a young age and never lost focus, now he's in the GOAT conversation. But I can't blame Johnny, a lot of people would succumb to the fame at that age or any age for that matter (You see how much people do just to get some likes on social media).
Lebron went straight to making the money... in basketball at the time you could go from high school to the NBA
@@romarisewilliams7429 Didn't he sign w/ Nike before the league? ($90M)
@@romarisewilliams7429that further proves his point that he had it all at a young age and never lost focus
They don’t do damage to your image while you playing they do the most damage/digging in your past and allegations when you retire
You always have to understand the situation of leaving high-school at 17 or 18 and going the pros and vets not letting you hang around and drink. In college anything goes at that age. Kobe had a similar situation where he wasnt with the team because he was underage. But def props to Lebron. Id also say when he got older he had the right people in place to protect him and even got certain media people put in place. Lebron Inc., is spectacular
asking how he could travel to miami on 7 bands is crazy 😂😂
The type of things he wants to do in Miami, 7 bands isn't enough for a single high end night club!
@@supersayin1
Hahahaha RIGHT!!!
Is 7 bands $7,000 or $7 million?
I’m from Miami the rent 3k for 1 room 😂
7k@@nostalgiaman6816
UNK done dropped another banger 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That's wild to hear he didn't know anything about credit until Cleveland. It's sad we learn the same History in public school every year but we don't get taught about credit cards, interest rates or loans.
Right!
Be real, johnny football wouldnt have been listening to the teacher lecture in HS anyway
He rich but also geto at the same time
This is why I respect Johnny football..... he takes all responsibility for his actions... He is not blaming this person or that person..or throwing anyone under the bus
I have much RESPECT to him now. He has definitely grown up and matured very much....💪👍💪👍
10 mil is very low. Manziel was way more lit than any of today's QB's
Yeah lol, I'm not even a fan, and it wasn't even close
Kid has grown up so much.
Has he?
Lmao, you sure about that?
Johnny was the Man! He was a joy to watch at A&M! Thanks for the entertainment!
Great interview! and kudos to JM for showing accountability and self awareness. Seems like you’re on the right path, the future is bright.
You can tell Johnnys learned, not everyone does. Life can make you soft af if you let it… as the Jacka once said, make this life.. don’t let it make you..
Naw life already way too short an hard automatically on its own to be out there TRYING to make it harder
Plus we ain't got but 15 years left at most anyways so get as much fun pleasure an satisfaction everyday while you still can
Seeing how much he’s grown is just amazing
I like THIS version of Johnny.
Johnny could've made more I believe. He was must-see every Saturday.
Great interview
Johnny was the m man them days was lit in college football cuz of him
This the interview I needed
Great interview❗️
Him, Tebow and Reggie Bush may have been good for more than 10mil a year if it was around back then.
Man, I respect him so much for his growth.
hats off johnny, glad to see you realize what the problem was, you…. amazing wach,,,,, johnny football NEEDS to be speaking to the youth coming up 🙏👊🏼
This video will do incredible things for Johnny if he stays on the path to healing and understanding his past. Johnny the past does not dictate what’s the future holds for you. This video is the polar opposite of who I thought he was from how the media portrayed him. He is showing the world he is not just some rich disrespectful kid. He is just like me a flawed man trying to make his life a little better each day. He comes across very likable and relatable. Don’t ever quit trying to get back 💯!!!!!!! so what if you have a bad day, get up the next and push for greatness.
4:00 you know johnny listening to David goggins😂
He was must SEE tv for sure
He's grown up a ton since his glory days!
The truth is the truth!
10 mil? I believe him. Probably couldve been more
I love Johnny ❤
We knew in California. dude was a legend before his prime.
"Where my cut" lol str8 up
This Interview was GOLDEN
Great story
As a Bama Alum, I give his football skills props. He beat us by himself. But off the field, glad to see he grew up.
Most entertaining football player ever in college 😊
Win or lose, we booze😂❤
he would've easily made well over 10mill he was cash money in college
This is an extremely eloquently speaking dude. Impressive interview.
Johnny a real one.
He's spot on
Hope bro is doing good now, crazy character growth
"My family's rich." Should be the title of the book.
Shoutout to humility from JohnnyFootball
Shannon coming insane wit these podcast yo
🔥
I’ve had this conversation with people….its hard for me to hold an 18, 19, 20 year old accountable for life decisions….yes many people get it right but there are so many people who make mistakes as kids and they pay for it as adults….to everybody who got it right early in life God bless you but that’s not how it happens most of the time
Him😂😂😂
12:13 / 13:08
Johnny Manziel could get into wrestling and I would watch every week. He has the best persona and wrestler voice I have heard since Macho Man.
Kevin Sumlin did a fantastic job after hearing all of this and what was in the documentary.
Johnny football at his BEST
Shoutout to Tyler Texas
903
💯🔥🔥👍🏾
Manziel was a beast for Texas
Johnny Football !!!
I wish bro made the league. He a real one
Jonny needs to get into coaching! It could be therapeutic for him and beneficial for young men.
He was the biggest thing in college football. He was definitely worth more than 10. That was still during the peak of a college Football and fan support.
Jonny was the best college football player hands down.
I put Johnny football's college game play above, Can N. and that church boy from Florida. J.F. was a God at Taxes A&M.
Even above Tebow?
@@isaacannanjr2371 that's the church boy I was talking about
Def not more than cam. Quit playing. 😂
Except those other two actually won championships
@@Bigdeebo17 FACTS
His new nickname should be Johnny gift card. 😂
Man yall dont know how electric Manziel was! He was the Lamar Jackson of his time. That win against Alabama was legendary, dude performed like a football magician.
I don’t know who this is……but I’m willing to learn. I’m present! What is going on with this story? Teach!!!!
10 million is the starting point…
JOHNNY FOOTBALLLLLLLL
Redshirt freshman not true freshman when he won the heisman
To me when people say "I was young" there is some type of self awareness that they knew they were doing wrong but this is the perfect excuse.
He couldn’t even go to class without getting bombarded for autographs!
Where my cut?? 😂😂😂
Imagine what players like Tebow, Newton, and Manziel would’ve got in todays NIL deals
Right. Even Reggie Bush.
Vince Young too. That Texas money is different.
That A&M money is different from the Texas money too. Lol
At the end of the day he did nothing wrong he sounding like he hurt people, your fine Johnny you really won at life you have money to take care of yourself and a family what more do you need
Don't nobody care about Johnny Manziel and that is real talk
Since we're talking "real", your really not cool dude. You my guy is wack. Get a life and get the hate out your heart!
Except you and everybody else watching this 😂😂
Glad he’s doing good a a man! Football should not define your life!
This guy reminds me of Wes Watson the way he expresses himself
Texas forever, you had to be there🥲💯
Unc…! When you inviting Quincy Jones on the show?.. I swear you’ll do Kat numbers again
You're talking about Johnny manziel like he was the best NFL football player the boy played for 2 years in the NFL and never played again because he was released by the Cleveland browns and he didn't do nothing for that team
Manziel isnt talked about for the nfl lmao he is one of the most hyped college players to ever play and the only freshman Heisman winner Johnny Football is a texas legend
If he got 50 million a year I wouldn’t be shocked. He was bigger than any college football player I can think of recently
Never heard him talk, he sounds like Vitaly
I always loved that white boy&still do 🦾💯
Manziel was to Texas what Tebow was to Florida.
This what self accountability looks like
the most electric college player ever
J.M is a complete D.B
Bahahaha, Galveston? Rough? Really?
20 mil topsssssss
Yes he didn’t go to Texas a&m for his health
DRAFT DAY
He didn't make it in the NFL because Johnny is about Johnny. Still is.
Wow.
It sound like he was too smart for his own good but definitely learned his lesson
where my cut?
For his Sophmore year, $10M sounds realistic to keep him from the transfer portal. For him to delay entering the draft after his Sophmore season (AS A Projected #1 draft), Texas A&M would have paid him more than $20M to be competitive with NFL money. Maybe that is too much money even for TAMU, but I don't think we've seen anywhere near the upper limit for TAMU NIL money.
His old man demanded $3M from Sumlin for Johnny to play his junior year. FACT.
They need to press charges against A&M for not giving that man anything they built a stadium off that kid back and gave him nothing
