Storm's End is such a cool name for a castle
Agreed 😁👌🏾
The most badass region of all westeros.
Baratheon dude nah Dorne is the most badass
Makhi Bridgett Nah the North is.
Nope iron islands
Baratheon dude I agree. The Laughing Storm was my favorite Knight/Lord in Westeros.
Nope. That honor goes to the north.
Durran: "All the lords said I was daft to build a castle on Shipbreaker Bay, but I built all the same just to show them. The gods destroyed it, so I built a second one that the gods destroyed, so I built a third one that sank into the sea, I built a fourth one that sank into the sea, I built a fifth one that sank into the sea, so I built a sixth one that burned down fell over, then sank into the sea, but the seventh one stayed in place and resisted the storms of Shipbreaker Bay!"
So, GRRM is a big fan of Python?
I wished you mentioned that the fortress of Nightsong is recorded to been seige 37 times in last millennium, and was onced burnt by a member of House Fowler. The reason for this because they are the most isolated marcher lords from their allies, at the edge of the Stormlands borders in between Dorne and the Reach.
I think that this fact, along with their claim that their banners has been seen in over a thousand battles makes them the most badass house of the Dornish Marchers, compared to the other macher lords of the Stormlands, Dorne and Reach.
Oh, and they also have Ser Rolland Storm, Bastard of Nightsong. I mean, is there a more badass name?
True my lord
If only their house wasn’t named “Karen”
Joffery didnt die from poison, he died the moment he retired barristan selmy. poor fool.
Totally agree. His stupidest decision.
ScrivaTV surely his worst decision was killing ned stark instead of sending him to the night's watch
It was defiantly his first worst decision. But dismissing Barristan Selmy was signing his own death sentence.
@@ScrivaTV Varys idea
Baratheons have a really interesting heritage, so they descended from Valyrian Dragon Lords and a goddess
3 things: Beric Dondarrion
Lyonel Baratheon
King Stannis the Mannis Baratheon, first of his name, the one true king of the Andals the First Men and the Roynar. Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Proterktor of the Realm.
1 thing: protector, not Proterktor.
love House Penrose just because of Cortnay Penrose
great guy
Love your channel man, keep up your great work
Just a bit of head cannon I came up with: I’d bet that the lands Ser Davos was given were originally the Toyne lands.
It’s not uncommon for an overlord to hold seized lands in their personal service until finding a worthy vassal or subject to bestow them upon.
_Sound The Charge_ - House Wensington
Forward for the Stormlands! For the Baratheons!
But where are they located?
Most fan-made maps have them west of Griffin's Roost. But there isn't much info on them, Sam makes some observations of Baratheon supporters alongside Stannis during Clash, during chapter 75 I think. What's interesting is their sigil, which has three Durrandon/Baratheon stags, which imply they are a cadet branch or something like that. And I just like their words, _Sound The Charge._ Reminds me of the Tarlys, _First In Battle._
Well, If they are west of Griffins Roost and are (supposingly) a cadet branch of Baratheons, it may be they are bordering Baratheon lands north of Griffins Roost, and may be those were the Connington lands before, and when Conningtons were reduced, part of their lands were given to Wensingtons, since they are a cadet branch of Baratheons themselves. Sounds logical.
These are some of the best videos I've seen about the geography. Hard to find any info this detailed
And house cafferen has to much land. The mayority of the cafferen lands youve given to them most likely Belongs to houses Selmy, Donsarrion and grandison
Fly High Fly Far
first
you forgot House Morrigen of crows nest who hold land below the Conningtons :)
12:55 Nope, just not much to tell about
ahh sorry must have missed that
Plenty to tell of that house. Made great knights
Theese vids are awesome. Took some time to acomodate with the accent but the vids are very well done. Keep up the good work
Thanks mate! Nice avatar BTW =)
haha i know its niceee that's why i got it in the first place
When you were talking about barristan Selmy, who's the guy with two heads you showed?
That's Maelys the Monstrous, one of the Blackfyre Pretenders. Here's more about it: czcams.com/video/wE0rFs9Z9rI/video.html
STRONG martial traditions and STRONG castles, you say. Wow they truly were everywhere
this rules
Am i the only one who thinks the sigil of house Wylde is inspired by Zakk Wylde's guitars?
house conington had 10 times biger
Can you make one for Dorne? :)
In production.
Nice :)
So is house Caron (or Karon) extinct?
Officially - yes, If we do not take in account Rolland Storm, Lord Carron's bastard.
ScrivaTV Wait a minute, is he the so called Bastard of the Nightsong, one of the Kingsmen, who take Edric Storm and flee?
You mean - Andrew Estermont?
Bastard of Nightsong stayed with Davos
There is still Ser Rolland Storm
the decision to add a "fireplace" ambient track was stupid
it doesn't add anything and just interferes with sound quality
add music if anything
💓🔥💓

Ser Cristen Cole broke his oath as member / commander of the Kingsguard when he accepted the office of Hand of the King to the Usurper King Aegon II (I believe Rhaneyra was the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms). Kingsguard are forbidden to hold lands, offices & titles. I also believe that Rhaenyra turned Cristen down which ultimately led to him turning to the favour of Queen Alisent Hightower.
Plz sir tell me the size (area) of land and men a House posses.
That would be a huge speculation for the most part. It's all approximate.
It’s actually kinda easy to find out a regions military strength. In 204ac house dondarrion and caron assembled 4k foot and 1 k horse together. They should Number about 3k each. And remember that the landparts close to the coast have a small population because of the storms. The inland lords: Grandisons, Cafferens, Fells, Bucklers, Selmys, Carons, Dondarrions and Swanns, they should controll the mayority of the stormlands strength which counts about 35-40 k. The houses iv’e mentioned most likely controlls about half or more of theese men. Theres your answer!
Where is house toyne and Cole
So Dorne next?
Reach, I suppose.
:(
ScrivaTV yes please that would be amazing keep up the good work :)
"Bear-is-stahn"
Grandwiew lays at the source of the slayne and fawnton lays at the border of the lands of house grandison and cafferen
House Mertyns gets 2 seconds.............seriously?
My favourite charcter: Brienne of Tarf
Wait, house cole sided with blacks and won byt got exiled after civil war?
No, they were only stewards, didn't hold lands at all. But their status I unknown from what I recall
Barristan lost to Rhaegar Targaryen

C3PO. He's droid.
He sounds like when you make Microsoft word read your essay

The narrator's English is too poor for this. Far too poor.
I agree
