- This ‘McCurd Lorry Manufacturing Co.’ Model C, 4-ton box van is now the only remaining example. It has a 4 cylinder 32.4 hp petrol engine. It was built in new premises on the Edgeware Road in the Dollis Hill area of Cricklewood, London in 1913. The McCurd is on loan to the Shuttleworth Collection from Tate and Lyle Sugar. Interestingly this McCurd box van featured in the film ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. For more information visit www.shuttleworth.org.

Beautiful truck and restoration. Too bad it was facing the wrong way when they installed the steering wheel. Nice video.
It might look a bit strange for an old truck, but it’s great fun to drive!
Сохранить в таком состоянии до наших дней 😳🥺🥹👍
Beautiful old lady.
I think so too!
I saw this one at a steam-rally/show in the mid-late eighties. I think it was at Hay on Wye.
Thanks for your feedback, we really appreciate it!
I'll gladly be the first to comment. So lovely to see these old vehicles being preserved and looked after. Many thanks for sharing these and for gaining another subscriber. Best wishes to you all from Canada (and an ex-Brit)
