For those wondering this is called Tetris effect, coming from Tetris itself it's a psychology term for when you start seen patterns or mental images becouse of you spent too much to an activity. So yea, Tetris was the first Amongus XD
As far as I know:
Tetris Effect is when you look at something for so long that when you take your eyes off of it or briefly close your eyes you keep seeing the outlines of the thing you were staring at.
This is what's called Pattern Recognition. It's your brain seeing something, identifying its pattern (Devolving it into its most simplest shape) and then finding that pattern in other stuff. It's when you see Jesus' face on a potato or on a chip or even on a rock. Or in this case, seeing crewmates on trash cans, pencil holders and on many more.
People have been seeing patterns looking like jesus in the most random places way before tetris was invented. So jesus was the first amongus.

Here's why I think that's what it is:
Structurally, you have "credo in" (I believe in), the object needs the accusative case.
--> "Amogum" would be accusative for "amogus", I can't believe i'm writing this, they made "amogus" into a second declension latin word and it is a beautiful sin
--> and "impostores suspectos" is accusative plural for "suspicious impostor".
--> You have "et" (meaning "and") in between. So it's "I believe in a and b", not "I believe that a is b".

In my opinion, this animation's best quality are the transitions. Not that the other things aren't good, the transitions are just spectacular. Some examples being, when the professors face peels off the screen, it specifically transfers to the first monkey, and when the locust swarm goes off screen, one straggling behind does a little loop before going off screen. I love how it shows "boomerang nebula" or "medjed" as if that's what is going to be said, but it just adds to the unexpectedness. Also, the song is actually extremely catchy. Thanks for this awesome production, it was very fun to watch.
