Love to see it! I've been a huge critic of seeing something other than a giveaway and I'm glad Trevor has made the moves necessary to facilitate something other than that. I think the channel has been caught in a rut, being dependant on giveaways to make ends meet, then that sucks too much time for other content and it fell into a cycle of giveaway content. Wholeheartedly support this new direction, and I'll make the time to watch these videos.

Good session. Usually boost control issues are solved by just running more boost, but with that good of a turbo that's probably 💥

A little more porting and angle the wastegate a tiny bit I'm sure it will work. Or just upsize to the next size up. Even a few mm diameter will make a big difference in flow.
We all are used to see cleetus or kyle rip the quarter mile in 7 seconds at around 200 mph in monsters with huge hp's but this is realy impressive.. it might not be a 7sec 200mph ripper but it's amazing to see a car that's build from nothing in a short amount of time going down that lane. This is going to be a great ripper is you keep it up. Boost control and transbrake on it and it's a certified ripper!

You can get a manual valvebody with a trans brake for the 4L80 and keep the torque converter lock up function. It doesn't have to be either highway driveability with soft launches or good launches with no overdrive or lock up.
Make that hole bigger on the housing, add a small pipe to the flange, and put some priority to the WG. Need more trans brake

Begging for better boost control. Its crying out for twin gates on the headers. That and better gearing.

Do you have a shift kit in it? The shifts sound soft. I had a transgo HD kit in mine and it broke necks on the shifts
“Ricer Bomb” should be the name. Whether you intended it to be that way or not, it’s just that!
Also since it has a cam I'd get a pair of cheap 243/799 and have them milled just a little maybe put the big valves in and that would help a lot to get the n/a power up so you can get the boost power up. Also that cam may not be a good cam for the 4.8.. idk how big it is but 4.8 with stock everything don't like good size cams

Sounds like you need a tq swap I can foot brake over 3k with my jakes triple disc a good converter and getting the boost creep fixed and it should be a beast

How did the Camaro do? Was it missing clamps on the couplers on the throttle body?
Spend some time on this thing. Get a transmission with a proper trans break and redo the turbo kit to fix the boost creep and have some fun.
Angle it out the fender and or transition to a larger pipe diameter to turn up. Bringing it back to the exhaust exit is killing flow. Fluid doesn’t like to turn.
That white Camaro though 😉 Thanks for the love guys can’t wait to get that Mustang ripping even more!

I think itd would do well to get a trans possibly a turbo 400 with trans brake to really see what itll do. I think you can do a lockup convertor with that as well
The 4L80 can do what he needs it to. It just needs to go manual. It's already in the car anyway.

So there are trucks that run low 9s and 8s on 4l80 spots not the trans.. one that baby 4.8 doesn't make much power with just a cam so even at 14 psi it's not gonna be crazy but it could get down to the 9s. I think someone who knows Holley stuff needs to tune it and play with it.. you can get a line lock or something for the trans to hold it so it starts in 1st. It may need better brakes

Why can't u use the blow off valve to also control the overboost. Letting it bleed off boost in the charge pipe sounds easy enough.

Sounds like it needs more timing. Maybe the base timing is way different than what the Holly thinks it is. Put a timing gun on it and make sure the crank offset is correct. I think boost is difficult to control of your timing is too retarded.
I don’t understand why that thing so slow 😂 I ran 10.1 in my 4000 pound Camaro with a stock ls3 and s480 at 10 psi 1.4 60 ft
And I run a 4L80e too no trans brake and build the boost I want at 3000rpm. Something really wrong
4l80e are dogs heavy af and has terrible power loss th400 is what I have in everything hotrod related

Yeah they cover the windshield with soot and you can't have the windows rolled down without getting a hundred percent of the exhaust inside of the car
