One of the best vocal coaches in the world. Deep knowledge, experience and the most important (zero ego)!
He started with many problems as he says in the video and because of his (Hercules) willpower and love for singing became MASTER of voice!!
I recoment Eli to everyone that loves and wants to master singing.
Eli thank you about all your precious help!!
Thank you so much, Themis, I sincerely appreciate all of your kind words and support!
Such an excellent and important video! Thanks Eli
You're very welcome and Thanks!
I’m practicing martial arts since a while and I recevied a few good shots to the mouth… When I’m singing I go for a lot of tension… Thanks for the tips!
03:52. I live in a apartment. I feel I am struggle with my voice to not make louder sound and be heard by the neighbors. Always waiting to be alone in house to can make this vocals exercises.
I need to say one more thing, this jaw moving strategy was out of this world. Simply incredible. For the first time in weeks I was able to make the notes sound good by doing vocalise exercises.
This is the only coach show this jaw problem the best , thankyouuu Im your subcriber now coach . Your best
Thanks and welcome! :)
Thanks for the great video. It explained a lot of my problems I had developed living in an apartment with bad nieghbours where I developed jaw tensions. My jaw has been tensing to cap my top notes.
Glad it helped!
Great video, you have a way of explaining calmly that removes a lot of the felt embarrassment of facing ones bad habits.
Thank you, I think it's because I had to face all of those embarrassments myself. I had every bad habit you can imagine. I still haven't had a student that was as bad as me! LOL!
Awesome lesson for all struggling singers!
It worked and reduced my jaw tension thanks
Right on, it worked for me too!
Super Great videos!!!!!!
Thank you!
Awesome
Thanks man!
Killer information brother.
Thank you my brother!
2:09 you did my voice! hahahah seriously. I'm watching these but going iuh.... when can I practice? in the shower? my life.... I'm old.... I need a one year vacation! hahaa thanks for these tips, man. It's nice to watch even if I will never quite get there.
Hey man, I watched the intro to your "Open Arms" cover yesterday and I almost blacked out, laughing! When you say: "Well, I'm no Steve Perry...Plus I'm CHEATING!....But let's see what happens! AND THEN you did the voice: "Let's see what happens", like Lurch! HAhahaha. It would have been The Ultimate reaction video!
@Truthsurge I watched your rendition of Neon Knights, just to see you navigate Bloody Angels Fast Descending
I’m so tense when I sing in front of my vocal coach. She told me she can see I’m tense. The tension went away after she instructed me to put my hands in my pockets. When I was holding the paper with the lyrics, she told me this is creating a lot of tension. I’ve not tried a hand-held microphone yet. When I was asked to record a line of guitar, someone else told me I looked like someone with a knife around my neck! 😮
I teach a lot of different techniques to relax and shed tension. The oldest, time - tested one is to use a mirror when practicing. The visual aid will show you all of the external tensions. You can then make a list of all of them that you see, and work to eliminate / release them, one by one.
@@EliPrinsensHVTVocals I’ve used the mirror last year and it fixed a lot of tension, mouth movements that were counter productive and some that were pure tics. There were all demonstrating nervousness or tension. I’m now back for more mirror time thanks to you.
Secret tips that no tamplin will show. Thanks eli for your contribution to vocal coaching and badass rock singing
My pleasure!! This is just the beginning!
That's because you don't need anything once you've got the LAAAH! Basic knowledge.
EE vowel is also big issue for me! Great video!
Not for long, pal!
How I hate the E vowel. My voice always breaks when singing higher notes with E vowels… :-D I seem to have ALL the problems you once had, Eli, so you‘re living my dream with being able to sing the way you are able to now. :-)
The funny thing is that now it's one of my best vowels.
5:05 horizontal sync is messing up on my computer! oh wait... it's just your jaw moving! hehe what if a singer did that live ona whole song. That would be freaky. prob get 100M views too. hmmmmm.... hehehhe should I???
HAhahahaha!!!!!!!!!!
@@EliPrinsensHVTVocals people would think I have some disease or syndrome. hehehhe Some would feel sorry for me I bet. Then I'd have to tell them at the end NOOOO, it's just a joke. Then some would get mad and say I was making fun of people. :(
Eli left you a message on facebook.😎
Can you please re send it, I lost a lot of messages by accident.
Will do
I have trouble with aaah as it starts wobbling
Not your favorite vowel?
9:25 Should be sponsored by Listerine.
HAHAHAHAHA! That is soooo funny!!!!!!!!!
The late Ron Anderson said: I have never had a student who would not need their jaw trained.
He sure did! He also said: "E" is a killer! LOL! (It was for me, luckily, I survived, now it's probably my favorite vowel!
