Bolt was winning gold when he was younger than her. The greatest athletes focus on training, consistency & commitment. Her sideshows will get her nowhere. Do you think she's the only talented young athlete? If she continues with her off field shenanigans she will never realize her real potential. There was never any dout that she wouldn't beat her, and not only Sha'carri but everybody else.
Sha'carri has the speed and power to be the best, but in this race, she hasn't found her peak form yet, and also, that long hair definitely was a major distraction. When the hair fell down just at the start, it looked like such a hindrance to her start and also her initial running burst. She already has enough of a tough challenge competing with the top Jamaican sprinters and she's just making it unecessarily more difficult on herself with anything that can drag her speed down.
She does not have anything outstanding to be the best more than every other sprinter coming up with promise. Thats why she got her ass washed in trials and didnt make the world championship team. All hype

She'll be fine when she discovers her niche. She has to put the same if not even more training time in as her Jamaican counterparts. She definitely has what it takes to be where she is.

The biomechanics of her form is suboptimal. This means that she is not converting energy to motion efficiently. This is basic physics.

Fashion isn’t the problem, Sha’Carri talks the talk but doesn’t always walk the walk. Florence Griffith Joyner who I’m pretty sure she is taking after had the same aesthetic. She’s no match for Elaine or any of the other established runners. She needs to focus on training and just like Usain Bolt said the good qualities of an Olympian is humbling yourself.

Sha'carri is definitely top class sprinter, and she can win the Olympic double sprint Gold for USA (plus hopefully Gold for USA in the 4x100 women's relay) in the next Olympics but she needs to optimize herself to compete with the top Jamaican sprinters. When her long hair fell down just at the start of the race, it looked like it really affected her start and also dragged her speed down at the beginning.
