In the Faroe Islands scene, the different subject emphasis (due to changes of focal length and distance to subject) was dramatic, and was illuminated perfectly by your story metaphors. The light bulb went on!
I also learned the power we have to place someone in the landscape as a balance, as an aid to scale, etc. Very helpful insights.
