Stan Freberg - 3 United Presbyterian Church radio spots (1964)

Considered groundbreaking at the time, this first of several Freberg ad campaigns for church organizations also featured the voice of Byron Kane. Music was conducted by Ralph Carmichael with the Jud Conlon Chorale

I remember these spots played on CHUM in Toronto when I was a teen. It's been a long time, but I can still sing along with them. That "penciled in" theme stuck with me all these years.

Wow! There's more punch in these than in a lot of long sermons. Have liked Freberg, and this was a bold project.
