LX470 Road Trip Daily Vlog: Day 4 - Camping in New Mexico Before Seeing the Mexico Border in Arizona

Day 4 of the LX470 based cross-country road trip started off at a snowy 8,000 feet in elevation (and 27°!) in New Mexico’s Lincoln National Forest and near a local ski area. We camped out of the truck and watched the snow lightly fall all night long.
And who knew about skiing in New Mexico? 🤯
The day also ended in a completely different fashion as Lincoln and I made it into Tucson for the night after crossing into Arizona and stopping by the Mexico border.
Surprisingly to this NC resident, New Mexico seemingly had a dispensary at nearly every intersection. We chose to focus on the high of the local mountains and endless beautiful views which resulted in day we’ll never forget.

Thanks. Only working with an iPhone and a GoPro, especially editing on an iPhone in various areas with limited connectivity makes me have to be selective and intentional!

What's on the menu for the trips... some MRE's, gas station hot dogs, or are you and Linc doing some filets and loaded potatoes?

I precooked and packed meals for me in a good cooler and then brought too many healthy snacks for in between. Lots of temptation during the gas stops though. And as for the filet and potatoes, I only get treated that well when travelling with @lockonautosport. 🤣
