Italy is well known for clubs and officials' cheating scandals. Why not in the Premier League? Sepp Blatter and Platini never wanted goal-line technology. The reason these football leaders don't want technology is because it reduces their chances of having control over match results. There can be no other reason why. Cricket, rugby (League and Union), tennis, all use technology and you hardly ever hear about anything controversial regarding it. Only VAR is massively controversial. Even from the most basic protocol - why have the onfield ref stand there like a lemon for minutes at a time while VAR is analysing a situation? Surely it makes sense for the onfield ref to go and look at the TV monitor and chat through a situation rather than standing scratching his bollocks in the middle of the park.

Thanks man! I feel that this whole saga has shone a light on the massive disconnect between the fans and football in general. The great thing is seeing so many fans of other clubs coming out in support of Forest - hope the momentum keeps running and fans and teams unite against incompetence, corruption (if any - Forest and Derby have previous in this), and the dystopian attempts at silencing!💪💪

Even if the first two incidents were not penalties which I don't believe they were, the third one was so blatant and Var just believed the referee instead of having a review.

Look,as a Forest fan I don’t think it’s corruption I think what most of this boils down to is common sense. Why on earth would the PGMOL put a Luton fan on the biggest relegation clash of the season. This was rightly pointed out by forest about that not being a smart decision if anything like this happening. Another point, which is a big problem is people like Alan shearer and Gary lineker going on their podcast week in week out bashing VAR and the refs, however the moment teams have started to have enough and call it out they laugh at it calling Forest an embarrassment and a disgrace.
The statement isn’t just about the Everton games it’s about the complete shite that VAR and refs have been for everyone all season.
The Neville and Carragher stuff is just laughable, taking the high road not like they haven’t put out things on social media questioning refere integrity before.
If you just looked at their reaction you’d think Forest called out the league for being corrupt and all the bs.

Uti, I am happy that you mentioned the possibility that PGMOL are editing the audio. In the case of the incorrect Luis Diaz offside, the audio was missing 4 or 5 seconds.

All 3 of those poor challenges by Ashley Young should have been penalties. To deny all 3 cannot be incompetence alone. On top of that Grealish should have been penalised vs Chelsea when he outstretched his arm to stop a free kick, not only did the ref not give it, he never gave the corner either. Stop watching EPL and cancel subscription tv until those in power listen and clean up the game.

All clubs should have made a stand after the spurs Liverpool game, but they didn't. Fans should stand up . Stop the subscriptions, stop going to the matches
It's outrageous that Coventry was robbed of a chance to play in the FA Cup final due to a blatantly incorrect call. If United had been in the same position, there's no way the goal would have been ruled offside. It's time to admit that questionable decisions are ruining the game's integrity and causing consistent harm to smaller clubs.
The current system only benefits mega-wealthy clubs, leaving others with the limitations of competing at the highest level. These smaller clubs are belittled and referred to as "small clubs," which is a gross misrepresentation of their value. This lack of consistency would not be acceptable in any other profession, as it raises questions about the reliability and honesty of those responsible.
Transparency, honesty, and trustworthiness are critical for maintaining the game's integrity. It's time for the football governing bodies to take responsibility and implement changes that ensure fairness for all clubs, regardless of their size or wealth.

Spurs away - James Maddison punch on Yates - VAR review not enough power in punch!
Brighton away -Jakob moder not sent off for obvious over the top foul on Nico
Liverpool home - drop ball wrongly given to Liverpool they then went upfield and scored
Man Utd -cup - free kick - goal - lengthy var check goal given to United (similar incident to foul/pen given to Brighton against us)
West Ham home - blatant penalty not given foul on Neco Williams but we won 2-0 anyway
Newcastle - blatant penalty not given Awoniyi brought down by keeper
Bournemouth away - kluivert should have been sent off in first half - subbed to protect him
Brentford away - Toney cheated on free kick (but it was clever apparently)
Bournemouth home - Boly wrongly sent off early first half
Brighton home - Lost 3-2 dubious pen given to Brighton after lengthy VAR review
Man U away - Worrall wrongly sent off - not last man and Rashford minimal contact penalty - Danilo

Let's see what the PGMOL come up with when they release the recording of the dialogue. But you're probably bang on the money when you say it's most likely being edited first. Bottom line is, whatever they release PGMOL/PL win because any outcome will make sweet FA difference to the club, just as all the previous apologies and concessions for their list of rank incompetent officiating has.

They hung on to Brennan Johnson until outside of the financial window which allowed them to get ~17.5m more for him, and they sold him. Makes perfect sense when it comes to financials and sustainability.
