Van egy srác aki álmai autóját keresi. Nem egy márkaőrült. Egyszerűen csak szereti az autókat. Naponta lapozgatja a használtautó oldalakat. Minden napra jut egy óriási meg nem lépett vétel.Ám az álmodozás egyszercsak áttöri a realitás falát.Talál egy 1985-ös Alfa Romeo GTV-t.Nem igazán teheti meg, hogy autót vásároljon - mégis megbeszél egy találkozót az eladóval. Barátai is elkísérik. Az autó nem egy jó vétel főhősünk számára.Nincsenek felesleges pénzei, hogy az öreg rozsdaboglyát rendbehozza. De ő már nem tud többé objektíven mérlegelni. Beleszeretett. Elképzel magáról egy olyan jövőt amiben minden tökéletes.Ehhez pont ez az autó kell itt és most.
English story:
"Everybody has a dream"
This guy is looking for his dream car. He ain't no fanboy, just a car guy. He loves them all. He scans trough the ads all the time, and he finds something to dream about every day... one day this Alfa Romeo GTV from 1985 comes up. He's broke, but he goes for it anyway. The GTV is far from good, friends try to keep him from buying, but it's too late. Objectivity loses, he's fallen in love. He has a vision... the perfect date in a perfect future. His future self needs this car right here right now...

This video basically describes me on a deep personal level. Just bought an '85 MR2 that has had body work done and the engine may be bad. I don't care, I have always wanted one. Took the GF with me to pick it up and on a tow truck it went. I got it for a good price. Guy was giving me all the stories too. Said he had a guy willing to drive 6 hours to get it if I didn't. Needed the money to pay a lawyer the next week. I didn't care, it was red, it was a first gen, and it was mine. Loved this video, one of my new favs. Wish I had the editing skills to put something like this on my channel, but at least I'll have fixes and projects to show the people.

Wow thanks for the reply! I actually tried to get it started yesterday. Previous owner had let it sit with no spark plugs in the engine! Have it all on camera. Videos coming sometime soon. :)

... brings me back to my younger years of automotering. First car I owned and kept for 23 years, today still regretting to have it sold some 10 years ago. You never get tired of looking at it from either outside, inside or even under the bonnet. With that great looking and anove 4,000rpm howling sound, that is so much characteristic for the original 2.5’s only.

Bel video. Quando ho acquistato dalla prima Alfa 916 GTV ho detto a mia moglie: "Non sono sicuro di come si inserisce nella nostra vita, ma devo comprarlo!" subito dopo il test drive. Ora ho 3 di loro.
Great video. When I purchased by first Alfa 916 GTV I said to my wife "I am not sure how it fits in our life but I must buy it!" straight after the test drive. Now I have 3 of them.

Én is így jártam, csak egy Sprint-el. Kb két millió forintot költöttem rá, mindig volt valami baja, de az egyik legjobb érzést adta, amit pénzen lehet venni.

hát igen valahogy így nézett ki most nálam is volt lehetőségem megkaparintani egy gyönyörű Volvó 760 turbó dieselt full extra börbelső minden ott is az volt sajna nem indíthat nem volt rajta hengerfej de annyira beleszerettem hát megvettem most tartok ott vele hogy már ketyeg a motort benne és a héten elvileg műszakira kész lesz ha benne vagytok akkor akár még egy autó tesztet forgatásra akár oda is adom :P ez az én álmom a 90 es évek egyik luxus autója :P jó volt a vidi kicsit magamra ismertem

Oh, and I've had my GTV6 for 28 years now. These cars have a very high fun factor! :-)
Update: My car has been stripped then body work performed, and painted. Slowly getting back together. Will have the transaxle gone through before I put it back on the road.

At 4:04 , even in his fantasy these is still something at fault in his prized Alfa,....The passenger side outboard running lamp is burned out.
Pardon,.... make that the rear passenger INBOARD running lamp. I've seen my share of rusted out Alfas..
