  • I get a lot of offers to review dash cams, but they're usually so bad I send them back or refuse. But this one is actually pretty decent, especially for the price of just $99. It is the Eachpai X100 Dual-Camera Dash Cam with 1080p resolution. There is a 4K version that I talk about towards the end of the video, but I prefer this one simply because the frame rate is higher.
The camera is available on Amazon here: amzn.to/30bHuer
There is a hardwire cable, the Rexing Mini-USB Hardwire Kit, that should work fine with this camera here: amzn.to/30epksD

Thanks for review, I'm a taxi driver over here in UK and looking for something like this.
Its not technically legal to have cameras inward facing in the taxi in my local Borough but if someone got in that I really didn't like the look of (we drivers develop a sixth sense for this!) I can discreetly turn the camera towards taxi interior and then the rest of time just have it facing downwards.
Two of your gripes about the buttons and mirror modes are OK for me as I'm in UK I'll be able to see those buttons 😁.
Shame about no wifi app but I can live with that. Now I've got to decide between this, the Vantrue, Blueskysea or Ascend. I really like the look of Blueskysea but it's out of stock everywhere.

Whenever i feel like i want to shoot Video of both the Front doors these cameras have Option to Shoot outside at any time like a Vlogger and do not want to shoot video of (Front and inside the Rear Room) , then the SKYBLUESEA B2W & CAMSONIC ULTRA Z 2 & 3 Dash Cam Benefits if a person want to shoot a video outside the front doors sides Left & Right , would be easy to change the direction to record Multiple Angles of both the Cams accordingly , option to Rotate , as they Rotates 180 degrees . I love those Dash Cams . Other cams don't have those multiple Angles to Shoot .

I've had this dashcam for about two years now, and it has consistently failed to record important events - often frustratingly happening to record immediately before and after. Just this morning I witnessed a car chase while waiting for another rideshare rider to pop up in my queue. upon returning home, the only footage was of the previous ride, and immediately after when I moved and parked elsewhere.
Not every missed moment was while parked - the dashcam failed to record an instance where an eagle flew out in front of my car and coasted ahead of me for roughly 10 seconds. I would've assumed that when the sd card is full it would delete the oldest footage - but that doesn't necessarily seem to be the case.
This thing is spotty at best, and has let me down multiple times.

Mine changes time. Always says the wrong time. All the videos are unorganized in the sd card which makes it hard to find the video you’re looking for

I've had 3 of these cameras. They all failed in 6 months or less, the last one, LITERALLY one day after I couldn't return to Amazon without paying a "restocking" fee. These cameras are GARBAGE.
