    🌍Mici, also known as "mititei," are delicious Romanian grilled sausages that are packed with flavor and tradition. Perfect for a gathering or a casual meal, these juicy mici will transport you to the heart of Romania. 🍢✨
    Ingredients:
    • 250 g pork and beef ground
    • 1 onion, finely chopped
    • 2 cloves of garlic, minced or crushed
    • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (or to taste)
    • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
    • 1/2 teaspoon of sweet paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme (optional)
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (helps with the texture)
    STEPS:
    1. Prepare the meat: place the meat in a large bowl.
    2. Seasoning: Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, sweet paprika, and optional dried thyme to the bowl.
    3. Mixing: Using clean hands, mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and the spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat. It's important to work the mixture well to achieve a smooth texture.
    4. Forming the rolls: Take portions of the meat mixture and shape them into small cylindrical rolls, typically about 3-4 inches long, on a lightly oiled surface to prevent sticking.
    5. Grilling: Cook the rolls on a hot grill or grill pan for about 8-10 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking. The "mici" are ready when they are nicely browned on the outside and thoroughly cooked inside.
    6. Serving: Serve the hot "mici" with mustard and fresh bread. Enjoy your meal!
