  • Swansea secured their first Premier League victory of the season after sweeping aside West Brom 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
Joe Allen was fouled in the box by Baggies midfielder Paul Scharner and Scott Sinclair stepped up to slot home the spot-kick for the opener (14).
The Swans continued to control proceedings and Leroy Lita doubled their advantage 10 minutes later, Sinclair heading a corner back across goal for the striker to turn the ball home at the back post.
City goalkeeper Michel Vorm was called into action to tip a Shane Long shot over the crossbar as Roy Hodgson's side briefly threatened.
Nathan Dyer then killed off the contest after the restart as he used his pace to latch onto a long ball forward before holding off Nicky Shorey and slotting the ball through the legs of Ben Foster (49).
