Say whatever you want about this movie, but ALL scenes with Arishem and the Celestials are Absolutely phenomenal. This is coming from a comic geek, they did the Celestials 100% justice.
They made toy robot gods, into some Halo shit

Arishem was the best part of the movie. Him and the post-credit scene with Blade
Tge celestials and blade were the only reason I saw this, been waiting for both for years
You mean best part because you liked looking at him, everything he said was stupid, and everything he did was idiotic

It's amazing to see David Kaye is still kicking with his excellent voice acting! Especially after almost 30 years, still going!
Now Steve Blum needs an awesome part in the MCU.
Aside from Frank Welker, David Kaye will be Megatron to me.
“Yeeeeeeees” I agree
David Kaye played Optimus Prime as a young cadet type of character, but he could DEFINITELY play Optimus as a wise leader type of character now
Yeah fr
david kaye was amazing as optimus
He was also the voice of Megatron in Beast Wars.
Megatron / Galvatron ( Transformers : Cybertron Trilogy ) ; Mysterio ( Spider-Man : The Shattered Dimensions ) ; Supreme Intelligence ( Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes )
Speaking about transformers, if the future movies will include unicron they should learn from mcu how to portray planet sized characters
This scene was both scary and beautiful!!
0:25 Just realized that when Jemiah took a step, it created a star.
This scene broke the mold of the entire movie. It reminds me of when Mufasa talks to Simba in the Lion King as a spirit. Literally this scene is about the circle of life which Arishem explains and Mufasa talks about the circle of life as well.... The music makes it more awesome for both.
Right on par with Malick’s Tree of Life.
Chloe got influence for that from Malick and threw it in here.
David Kaye is a king! I’m so happy he got the part, he has such a amazing voice 😭
Yesssss
I knew someone was going to make the obvious beast wars joke
@@kirb2electricHope Steve Blum somehow gets a part in the MCU.
To be completely honest, I side with the celestials on this one. One planet sacrificed for the creation of billions of others, with countless forms of life on them.
They can probably create other celestials themselves and not just a seed
@@daili12 I doubt it.
Honestly I completely agree, it's like trading a candy bare for entire food factory. I got a little pissed when they froze Tiamut, But we know how cinema work's, always gotta make the plots have the protagonist winning.

celestial in the end create more than they destroy. one celestial creates multple new worlds, without them the universe already would be close to death
@@seelfire4725if you read the comics you'll know that the Celestials are the villains.
And they're lying in this movie, they can't create universe, planets or stars. Yes they can destroy, but not create. What they do is to reproduce or expand their race by destroying planets while abusing and experimenting on the native life there. Like Ego and Eson for example.
After watching Eternals, I now have this headcanon...
CELESTIALS: Our goal is to make more Celestials.
EGO: Okay, got it.
CELESTIALS: (confused)But you're making more of you.
EGO: Yes.
CELESTIALS: That's not the plan.

One of the most beautiful scenes in the mcu
"Our universe is a constant exchange of energy. An infinite cycle of creation and destruction.
Celestials use energy gathered from host planets to create suns, generating gravity, heat and light for new galaxies to form.
Without us our universe will fall into darkness, all life will die."

This is without a doubt the best part of the movie!
I loved this movie tbh, I truly don't understand the hate, I realize there are flaws but not enough to call it terrible, this movie is so badass imo, I loved the characters and their powers, the world building, the thought that the entire time we've been watching the mcu since forever, deep in the earth there was a fuckin celestial just resting in there, and the celestials were so damn badass, I can't wait to see more from the Eternals and Celestials
Who else is wanting Knull to be on the big screen?
Venom 2 post credit scene tease his existence
I actually understand from a certain point of view, the concept of balance the Celestials play, Creation, destruction, rebirth it’s all balance to make life grow
The Celestials are beyond Good and Evil, they’re on the side of nature, making life grow and renew
Still life changes and evolves, and ways are meant to change. If there are ways to create Celestials without destroying planets then it is something to be pursued
but this got me thinking and starts a major debate. so in the marvel universe, science is just nonexistent? So the big bang never happened and it was just all created by the celestials??

I need a dub of Progenitor’s speech declaring earth’s Judgement with this base of a voice.
I really wish they had done more with Arishem’s voice than just “guy with a deep voice.” Add some layers to it or something. This sounds like the opening narration to a nature documentary.
He is a cosmic entity. We can't imagine what a God would sound like, but as far as I can imagine, a God would have a thunderous, deep yet indifferent and monotonous voice. So this voice was perfect for a Celestial.

I was hoping we would’ve seen Knull taking off Knowhere’s head.
Could be a dumb question maybe not but are the celestials more powerful than kang? and also whose stronger kang or galactus

There would be no Endgame if Thanos got reduced to atoms. Also, since the Celestials predate the universe they likely weren't even affected by the snap.

I wouldn’t be surprised if in one of the big upcoming films like say one of the 2 upcoming avengers movies we see the celestials return because of what happened to the celestial in the earth
Either that or maybe a vengeful celestial
It’s possible it wouldn’t be an avengers movie since those will probably be about kang and stuff but it could be an upcoming movie who knows
David friggin' Kaye, man.
I like the fact one of the celestials is the living version of knowhere
Does anyone know what the soundtrack is for this scene?
For all the movie’s flaws, the Celestials origin story was one of the few things they got right.
David kaye voiced by arishem
I hope Tiamat isn’t dead. They’re supposed to be the Dreaming Celestial. To think for themselves and become an individual. The first individual Celestial in literal eons, peaking interest from the One-Above-All.
OAA the Celestial Chief Leader
who knows, maybe their short time alive and deciding to help cersei was enough?
Why is ego different from them? He doesn't care about creating stars or anything?
Well, Ego cares for only one prupose and it is to make everything arround himself. The celestials had their own version of life and death, and Ego....well, the name speaks for itself
I have a theory that Ego was a result of him emerging from a planet that didn’t have enough sentient life for him to become fully a celestial. Which is what led Arishem to create the Deviants
