Gaia BH1: The Nearest Black Hole Found!

Gaia BH1 is the nearest black hole we have discovered yet. This feat was achieved because of the data provided by the European Space Agency's Gaia spacecraft. Also the Gemini space telescope was used to detect the presence of this stellar mass black hole.

The fact that a backhole doesn't emmit colors that it's pure black; But back is a color too?! Is "Doesn't emmit color" = Black ?

no they are basically invisible, since they absorb light we cannot see them with a normal telescope or a nasa telescope, and the reason why it appears black is because it is in a dark environment, basically like glass you can see through it, but at a certain angle you can see it.

uh no black and white are not colours actually, black is like the absence of colour and white is combination of all colours. all the colours we know come from the white colour except for black. for example when there is a light source we can see everything but when there isnt any source of light it is simply dark i.e. absence of light.
