The only defenceman in the fastest skater and the only forward in the hardest shot says a lot about the Canucks’ versatility moving forward. I’m super excited for this team’s future!
Joshua Whenever Petterson is lacking in something, he aims to fix and perfect it. It’s partially why we have such a good face off %

Pettersson has to break at least a couple laws of physics to be able to shoot pucks at 102.4 mph. Very impressive!
Mattias Persson it’s all about form man. Sure Weber’s size helps but the form is key

Jimbo got 2 out of three top draft picks correct, we almost got all three of them playing together every night! I'm still rooting for Olli because D-men are hard to come by, but it would be nice to see Tkachuk with Petey on the same line
@@LuongoTHEmachine if we'd picked Tkachuk the very likely means we have no Pettersson and/or Hughes. It sucks Jake wasn't the best guy available but it could've turned out much worse

hes very agile, not fast but he's quick to reach top speed, although his top speed is still the best compared to all other D-mens, only Makar is as fast

I thought Quinn Hughes did fine in the Fastest Skater (especially considering he was the only d-man in it). However, his A to B speed isn't the most impressive part of his skating, rather it's his edge work, pivoting, and changing directions.
Thus, I think he would have absolutely crushed a puck control event that would have included skating around obstacles (like they used to have).
1:13 is such a cute moment! I love it.
Markstrom is like the nicest guy ever
I know some real good players from the east skipped this event but team pacific just looked real good and real young. Great future for NHL.

I was in awe of Quinn Hughes. Boy can he skate. Very useful on the power play. Penalty killing. He could be for the Vancouver Canucks what Paul Coffey was for the Edmonton Oilers and what Bobby Orr was for the Boston Bruins. Jacob Markstrom, superb goal tending. Elias Pettersson, outstanding shot. Three players to build a hockey team around.
Gotta represent. Go Canucks!

Quinn is such a smooth D-man, I think Jack will be just as good or better he just needs to mature his body and his game a little bit .. Quinn coming out of college shows how skilled the college game is these kids are filthy

this is the canucks best season in a long time.
They say the Pacific division is one of the weakest divisions but we have now won 4 of 5 All-Star games. Tones of Talent in this Division and as for the younger teams are getting stronger and stronger I think the North West will be the New Valley of Death.
Even though the Kings, and Ducks are regressing now, the Nucks, Flames, and Oilers are only getting better, and Arizona already good. But pretty balanced division.
