    Thank you for this. I got dismissed but they wouldn't tell me what I've done, they won't let me move on also as they won't give me a reference for another job so they've made me not able to get a Job working with young people 16 to 18.

    Unfortunately brutal but the facts are the facts... for me! I stick to note, mark record (everything). I find people a slippery at the best of times

    reading this after having had a fact find at work, without the transcript, then an investigation, without warning, where one of the investigators names was brought up, again with no transcript :(

    Hi can I go tribunal if self employed work in construction,or only employed ? I had discrimination on work

    I lucked out the Ontario labour bored told me they would of done everything for me but since I went ahead to small claims to claim owed wages and only claimed severance pay and vacation pay though them I would have to the civil claim myself

      Hi - could you please elaborate? If a contract says an employee can be terminated at any point, for any reason (during the probationary period), does that mean an employee can’t pursue action? Thank you

    What about the fact that my manager shared details of my sickness with, not just other staff members, but people in a pub. My hormonal issues were banded around as if it were entertainment and when I complained about it, I was told that I was too sensitive and the manager will apologise. I never got that apology.

    Legal framework doesn't reflect real life events but only reflects ( contains) the parts of life that lawmakers want to eliminate from the workplace: eg wistl blooo ing which makes you a target...imo

    I work till 11pm some nights & then rostered back in for 7am next morning, is this wrong/illegal & if it is who do I talk to about it, & I'm also on my own so getting a proper break is out of the question so if I do start eating something & something needs attending too I have to do it then my food has gone cold etc

      I assume you read your contract before taking the job or soon thereafter. Perhaps the employer can only afford 1 employee to work.
