    I've often wondered if you can actually employ someone for a fixed period of time for to do a specific task and it's written in the contract from the start I.e two years to research a specific market or be a project manager for a very specific account. Without leaving yourself to an unfair dismissal claim at the end of it.

      Yes, no problem. A specific purpose contract might be what's needed.
