Complete 80's fix. The cheese runneth over and I loved it. You had every cop show cliche (the haggard captian, loner bad boy cop, straight edge unwanted partner), you got a dose of Van Damme going on, Miami Vice big time, and the nerdy hacker outcast, etc. Yes, this is totally a Gen X thing but it's awesome you don't have to be our age to enjoy it.

Yo I clicked on this movie yesterday, totally unaware I was about to watch something epic. I'm like 3 minutes in and I'm like whaaaaat the fuck is this?!! Paused the movie, went to get my brother who was here, told him "you gotta come watch this movie, this shit is awesome!". I loved it, I was smiling and laughing throughout the entire thing. We grew up with movies and cartoons from the 80's and 90's, but for a younger audience, I think this is great to watch as well, even if they don't get all the references, like the Knight Rider, M.A.S.K., D.D., etc. It does give quite an accurate depiction of what movies were like back then. Even the Visuals, with the bleeding effect around edges, like VHS tapes, it's beautiful. Watched it 3 times with this reaction included. Awesome movie, they should do another one!!

Know what I like? The toy logic. Doing crazy stuff with action figures and flips. Dinosaurs and guns from figures lol. Hell, even the arm as a propeller. How many kids use the logic "if he spins it fast enough it'll fly"? Brilliant.

If you didn't know it, the guy who plays Kung Fury is also the guy who wrote and directed the film. His name is David Sandberg and he's a Swedish filmmaker. That's why sometimes his words come out a bit odd.

Did anyone else notice that the Power Glove switches arms? The power glove was only made for your right arm, but in the scene with KungFury going through the portal the Power Glove is switched to the left arm.

20 here. Grew up in the late 90's but holy fucking shit. This is one of the best films I've ever seen. Watched it with gf who thought I was fucking stupid at first but she started liking it more and more. Even today when she came home from school she was annoyed because she couldn't get "true survivor" out of her head and had been listening to it all day xD But yeah, this movie makes me proud 2 be a swede. They should seriously make a full length film, I want to see Kung Fury finish off Hitler.
