- Today, we're taking a look at the UNRELEASED LEGO Jurassic World set! The Quetzalcoatlus Plane Ambush from the upcoming film Jurassic World Dominion! This set will be releasing on April 17th, but was picked up early from Master Mind Toys here in Canada!

Actually Quetzalcoatlus was not a dinosaur, it was in fact a Pterosaur (flying reptile). Pterosaurs however were closely related to dinosaurs as they had the same common ancestor during the Permian period.

He did say Quetzalcoatlus right, at least in Spanish and the quetzalcoatlus isn’t a Dino is a pterodactyloid pterosaur like Pteranodon, they weren’t dinosaurs but close relatives

I really liked it as a kid when Lego sets had built in weakspots by nature of their design for things to be 'destroyed' during play. It's fun to imagine some thing damaged and the minifigs finding a way to repair it. A lot of current sets rely too much on 'proper' action features in my opinion, while also being way too sturdy, as well as way too dense and heavy for that matter (some of these sets are just unecessarily packed so solid its overkill).
The color scheme on these sets are so good that I might actually have to buy all of them

The side stickers on the plane is one of my favorite parts it looks good

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this flying dinosaur could be related to either or Pterodactyls, or Pteranadons
@@michaelbricksforreal3631 ok so quetzalcoatlus is part of the Pterodactyloudea group that includes both pteranodon and pterodactylus however quetzalcoatlus was an azdarchid while pteranodon was part of the pteranodontia which are vastly different groups within pterodactyloidea and pterodactylus was a primitive pterodactyloid that was more advance than the long tailed ramphorincoid pterosaurs a group were dimorphodon from Jurassic world 1 was part of.
Arambourgiania was bigger than quetzalcoatlus and so was Hatzegopteryx

The shape and colour of the plane is kind of reminiscent of the Lego 3807: Snaptrax S45
Very cool set, probably going to pick this one up. And if I remember correctly it is the largest living thing to have ever flown in our sky’s. Great review for a great set👍
I would personally buy 2 of these so I would have 2 Quetzalcoatlus, and the extra parts to make the plane bigger

The plane is a C-119 Flying Boxcar. Its been made by Lego before for the Arctic Supply Plane set 60064.

The LEGO plane is definitely inspired by the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar. Not sure if that’s the one in the movie, but it’s be my guess

I really like the plane( the plane is called a C-119 flying boxcar), i think that the design of the one in the movie would be too hard to properly recreate the size of the actual plane compared to the humans. Although i would prefer it to be slightly larger and with a little more interior decoration, that's asking for too much. This is good, i like this, ill be sure too pick up my own.

fyi, the official name for the plane is "fairchild c-119 flying boxcar".
So this set is $70 Australian. It should have been $53 based on conversion rates. I would be perfectly fine paying $60. I’m still gonna get it at $70 but I’m a bit stingy on it. Like $53 is a steal in my opinion and $60 is a fair price. But just I don’t understand why it costs so much. Australia has less people and is further away but there shouldn’t be such a large difference in cost. And it’s a shame because now I can’t really get any of the other sets. And the trike set is $70 here too. And based on the Lego store and Kmart listings I believe the pyroraptor set should be $70 which is laughable. That is a $50 set. I guess I said this comment to spread awareness of these unfair prices on the same product.
