HOT TIP - NEVER LET THIS SIT IN A PLASTIC BLENDER OVERNIGHT BECAUSE YOUR BLENDER WILL SMELL/TASTE LIKE COFFEE FOREVER AND IT WILL STAIN. Glass/Metal will be relatively fine tho.
This is... actually bad. It'll stain the blender and since you arent refridgerating it, it wont be cold. You'll have to somehow fit a massive pos blender in the fridge for good cold brew. Just... get a spice grinder. Its small, its compact, and then use whatever container you want, you just need to steep the beans in water for a while. Please dont encourage people to ruin their blenders for shitty room-temp coffee.
NO!, NO, dear god NO! don't blend beans and for the love of god don't steep it in a plastic container you ever plan on using for anything else ever again.
I almost threw up watching this. Disgusting way to make cold brew. Just buy your coffee already grounded for cold brew. It won't cost any more than buying it whole grain. And I bet my life on it that it'll taste dozens of times better
@hachirosenju8509 grinding coffee using a blender gives uneven ground sizes causing uneven extraction. Leaving in the blender overnight will stain the blender and make it smell like coffee for a really long time. It would make more sense to dump it into a regular glass or metal container to fit in the fridge easier. Couple of things I might have missed, but that's the gist.
James Hoffman: *screaming, crying, throwing up*
😂
Hahahahaha
weird coffee person enters chat.
He took the "to whom it may concern" approach to grinding the coffee beans

Cold tip* lol
If only there was a way to mix the water and coffee grinds together without the need for a spoon. Maybe an electrical method of blending it together.
Maybe he didn't want to grind the coffee beans to a finer texture
Definitely not because he wanted to coarse grind right?
"GRIND THE BEANS" **awesome face** I flippin' love you, dude.
This seems like it would give a coffee fanatic a heart attack
Yes

I love this person
You’re gonna lose your mind when you hear about ice
Thank you! I love cold brew but don't have money or room for extra gadgets in my smol kitchen. Blender is necessary for my sanity tho
Think of all the money you’ll save by grinding up your own stuff instead of buying meals
You could try getting a mortar and pestle and grind them by hand if you dont want to spend money on a blender
@@choog5650 that’s actually really good advice
The small hand grinder is also relatively inexpensive especially when you're serious with brewing at home.
I also just refigerate a pot of coffee overnight. Works great, less mess to.
U made iced coffee. Still delicious but he made cold brew
Yeah. Cold coffee is great too.
Hell yeah, I’m saving these
Recipe for that Cake next
It should be in the fridge right?

Something to look into: Just like they can age alcohol with ultrasonic waves quickly, they can extract cold brew quickly as well
People are so creative
Thank you.
😊
I just got 3 cold brew how to in a row
Can I strain with a strainer and not a filter
You can, if you like gritty cold brew.

Always thought this guy was a fed, still convinced

Or just get a cold brew press like normal people

This has to be a joke
He looks like that dude from key&peele
Umm Jordan Peele? But yes, dude does look like Jordan.

@@Trave1s_with_Chris makes sense
Nice, never thought of using my blender. Cold brew is the best, its less acidic so less harsm on teeth and tummies.
