I've been trying to move home to Florida for a long time... when I was attempting the east coast in '16 I wondered about living farther south than Lake Worth (where I was a guest). So recovering from chronic illness and being chemically sensitive I called the health dept reps down there... got led around and never got an answer about any health issues arising from the mosquito spraying I remember as a kid in Isle of Capri.

Fort Myers isn't for us. If you like Myrtle Beach, or Daytona you'll like Fort Myers, it's just as touristy but smaller. The pier area smells like urine, and the fishing on the beach lacks. A lot of folks we know love it, and my in-laws live there, so don't take my word for it, but we've traveled from ventura beach in cali, to the shore of Monaco in the French rivi. We aren't uppity, but we love beaches.
