Crazy fact that death scythe was supposed to be the main character until sunrise decided to create wing and make the main character have less personality than maxwell duo.
My first model kit was og hell and man i miss it (lost from moving around) and i love deathscythe for another reason past its abilities and duo who made it legendary, and that is it being one of if not the only mobile suit to be able to use beam weapons under water
at least he wasn't alone. Gundam SEED Destiny, Athrun was the main character but considering that they needed him to stay as the Char character, they needed a new "Amuro" and we got Shinn instead. Unfortunately, the scriptwriter was a scum and the studio had enough of her and so she tried to put the blame on her bad work ethic on Cagali's VA but Shinn's VA spoke up and defended her, which is why we have those 2 characters turn 180 and become complete idiots in the series. Duo at the very least did not fall under that and he still has a big presence in the anime. Heero was just an edgelord that edgelord wanna bes liked. The rest of the people like Duo and consider him the true protagonist. Heero has always felt like an outsider of the group anyways.
He also contributed more than anyone else towards stopping the war. Hero mostly just did emo stuff and fired the buster rifle at bases/ships but Duo did most of the heavy lifting IMO.
Definitely one of my favorite Gundam designs growing up I never knew Death Scythe was designed for stealth purposes which makes sense given the second episode of the series Duo approaches all of his targets from out if nowhere. The Cancer squad's last member even comments he can't see the enemy suit anywhere when it's right in front of him. While more close quarters of a design I do love the unique scythe and great buster shield designs.
One thing... Fenrir Mode in the Manga actually has another set of weapons. If you look... the two Beam scythes actually attach on the back of the suit in its wolf form. The beam blades flaring out to the two sides.... Kinda like the "Yeager" Liger Zero from Zoids. The blades appear to flare out back and have a set of blades facing forward around the head as you can see the two white/beam blades in the bottom of the pannel forming to a point. So I wouldn't be surprised if blades could move around on the suit as well.
The angelic Snow White you mentioned is the Prelude version (before converted into Frozen Teardrop's Snow White). Snow White in Frozen Teardrop was totally cloaked, only Gundam face and weapons are disclosed.

@@maxthunder2 The Snow White is basically the Wing Zero but white, gold and with way more wings than it could possibly need, the Prometheus is the Heavyarms Custom with a massive shoulder-mounted cannon almost as big as the gundam itself, the Epyon Bai is a custom white Epyon piloted by Wufei, and that's pretty much all I know.
Deathscythe Gundam has been my favorite Gundam ever since I watched Gundam Wing. I went so far to even grow out long hair because of Duo Maxwell, my favorite character as well. Even my nickname is Duo, and I love Deathscythe to this day. My favorite Variant has to be Deathscythe Hell EW. I donât know if the Warlock Gundam Counts, but that one is pretty cool too.

As soon as I know that they were releasing a ACHG Gundam Deathscythe kit I preordered it that day. I have been waiting for it for years. Yes Gundam Deathscythe is one of my favorite Gundams.
I never get tired of watching this video. Each time makes me want to collect the rest of the Deathscythe suits since I currently only have the 1/100 MG Deathscythe Hell (EW).
Deathscythe's ability to jam cameras and electronics seems like a deus ex depending on who has the plot armor of the story. This means you can only ever see it with your naked eyes.

When i saw the Gundam Barbatos for the first time, i remembered the shilouette of the Gundam Deathscythe inmediatly. Both gundams have their long "spears" and shields in the begining of their shows.
One of my Favorite Melee Specialized Gundams in the franchise and is equally my favorite Gundam from Gubdam Wing alongside the Wing Gundam line. The design was phenomenal, simple, effective, efficient and deadly. Although, I admit I never really like the TV Deathscythe Hell so I was glad when it was redesigned in Endless Waltz. The Gundam really emits the Shinigami aesthetics. Ready to send you into the depths of Hell.
This is the first bandai HG I had to built when I was 10. I'd love the angel of death theme with sycthe on it. The ability to become stealth mode are very close to blitz gundam on gundam seed series, I think blitz following deathscythe.
Finishing up my Deathscythe Supernova. Kit is well made, plastic quality is ALMOST as good as Bandai. Mold quality and detail is as good, sometimes better than Bandai. Fitment....is tight. Very tight, bordering on requiring pliers to get some pieces together. Had to file nearly every peg and hole for fitment. You can force the pieces together without filing, but you won't be able to move it without risk of breaking the joints. If you paint, sand down the places where parts connect prior to painting and DO NOT PAINT the backsides of parts or they likely won't fit together. I'm guessing when they made the molds, they didn't leave any margins for production tolerances in there. If you make a 1mm peg, it's not going to fit in a 1mm hole. The peg might be 1.01mm and the the hole might be .99mm once the plastic sets. My god, my fingertips hurt from trying to snap this kit together. It's a great kit, love the detail, color is good, almost no visible nubs, not manga/anime accurate but the changes are tasteful, posing is the same as Bandai as the inner frame is the same and the joints are tight enough to hold any pose you want, and comes with a beautiful action stand. I will be getting the Supernovae of the other EW MS and will let you know how they turn out
I think people miss the point that the stealth factor is for other mobile suits. Doesnt matter if little people can see. If youre in a mobile suit youre screwed
I agree with this! It just looked more grounded in reality (which sounds ridiculous considering the content lol).... but it had a plausibility to it that Hell just didn't have. Don't get me wrong I love Hell, but my fav was always og Deathscythe due to the black accents. However (as a kid) with the smal non-hardcore action figures, I always put a regular beam sword in his left hand cause I'm obsessed with swords and just thought it would be a sick dual wield! Wish I still had those toys, man oh mannn

Love the design (it is way better than MG Hell Custom, specially the wings đ), plastic is good and easy to work with, instructions are clear (except for the sticker placement). Solid joints (be sure to snap the thighs to the groin ALL THE WAY IN!!) And the action base is so elegant. IMHO: do it!
And I forgot: it includes a nasty (in the best way possible) alternate red effect part for the beam scissor (so bad ass!!) And alternate red eyed sticker

Well, the OG version design of the anime is kind of meh, especially the DH with the ribs-like chest and the wings attached to the shoulders. But the EW-ver, oh boy, that was masterpiece. I'm a big a fan of anything Katoki and the rousete is pretty cool. GotL depict Wings story with more interesting details compared to the more confusing anime because the lack of background explanation. There are a translation of FTD novel out there, but not sure if it was still continue. Try checking the 4chan, mate.

Duo was literally the only decent one of the Wing boys. He actually emotes, had somewhat of a personality, and doesn't do the whole edgy teen bullshit.
I have the NG 1/100 version of Deathscythe Hell. I wish Bandai can make a 2.0 or 3.0 version of that design whether its HG, MG or even RG. The only option is the Dragon Momoko model which quite pricey now. The rib cage design on the chest always be the sickest version of Deathscythe Hell.
I've kinda viewed the jammer to function similar to mirage colloid from seed but not being fully fleshed out like that system. It's kinda how I'd imagine them to visualize it if a modern remake was done

I have the NG 1/100 version of Deathscythe Hell. I wish Bandai can make a 2.0 or 3.0 version of that design whether its HG, MG or even RG. The only option is the Dragon Momoko model which quite pricey now. The rib cage design on the chest always be the sickest version of Deathscythe Hell.
With the LiveLance Heaven, Deathscythe Hell is coming in PB for sure

I've kinda viewed the jammer to function similar to mirage colloid from seed but not being fully fleshed out like that system. It's kinda how I'd imagine them to visualize it if a modern remake was done
Seed was made in 2003, wing was 1995... Seed is copying wing on this one TBH...
