Duel was the first gundam to be customize after Strike Defeated Duel which is the Assault Shroud.
Yzak is so awesome he doesn't need a Super OP Gundam to kill TWO Druggies with much advanced Gundam, just need a Courage, Determination and Lots of Screaming with Anger
Screaming is courtesy of Tomokazu Seki and he played the MC in a Gundam series before SEED, which also happens to scream a lot when he fights. Had Yzak was given a Destiny unit, the palm of his will burn the enemy.

Yzak piloting Duel aka the most vanilla gundam means to be the best.
@@hairulaidil4343 his Assault Shroud is kinda like Heavy Gundam/Full Armor Gundam since it Provided more Defense and Firepower at the cost of Speed which is no problem since the Duel Gundam is pretty light and fast
@joejunior5991 yup the Assault Shroud is basically CE Version of the Full Armour package.

@@zethythonix as if they're prototypes. Sven reminds me of Todd 3465 from Soldier (1998 film) as he is trained mostly the natural way, little to no drugs and more physical, special forces way.
The term "Druggies" to refer to them has been around for a long time in the fandom since about 16 years ago.

Strike E is my favourite Strike variant and GuAIZ R is probably one of my favourite ZAFT MS. Wish they are ZAFT's mainstay in GSD. GINN could've just become GINN Warrior with that Zaku torso.

In my school vr game there is a new veriont of the dual called the gala dual gundam a upgraded version of the blu dual which is even more armoured and it has anti beam coating on the cockpit and nanolaminated armour on the whole thing and it showed In the mission called windigo where the gundam piloted by a lily teamed up with 00 goalius and attacked the ultra guardians tournament island and she had a short fight against the x buster gundam and calamity war gundam and even dodge the barbatos lupas rex attack and caused enemy friendly fire and she escaped with goalius after gundam latias was destroyed
It's like Marcotatsu x Kakarot197 x Gimore x Ani but in English dub
Note : the only thing that I feel pity was how horrible the Dule Gundam pilot was every time it was shown on screen like at least give it an Ace MS pilot to show off its upgrade
The Duel's rail bazooka is a naming tribute 2 the Gae Bulg spear used by Cu Chulainn from the Fate series.
Duel is very simple and straight up, but it was proven that it can stood against time

The blue and gray version of the Long Dagger is the Duel Dagger. When using the Fortresa Armor it is the Duel Dagger Fortestra. The first in the Dagger series using Naturals.
yzak is definitely the pilot with worst haircut, but nevertheless, he is still really cool

Somehow, technical-wise, I think Duel Gundam had closest homage to RX-78-2 (but they decided to give the spotlight to Strike Gundam instead which is more gimmicky with its Striker packs). I mean, both Duel and RX-78-2 had the most basic frame, also the Assaultshroud armor had similar armaments with PF-78-1 Perfect Gundam I. Then the last version of Duel, Regen Duel almost resembles PF-78-3 Perfect Gundam III which had lighter armor, even the backpack bazooka had similar configuration!
OMG I didn’t even notice that, after reading your explanation, it makes me look at Duel’s design in a different way

Well, it’s facts. Yzak is the best pilot for the Duel Gundam series IMO
@@zethythonix 10s of billions wasted, that includes around several hundred million dollars which is the cost of one soldier like Mudie. Raising those kids to fight Coordinators ain't cheap.

First Gundam related merchandise I've ever owned a Robot demashi Duel Gundam when I was like 7, I played so much Gundam Games that when I saw it was on sale I wanted to know what kind of Gundam it was because I've never seen it before...It's probably nostalgia but the Duel Gundam has the BEST gundam design out if all the Gundam in SEED Simple and slick without the assault shroud

Hey zenthonix, just a question. When you mention measurements, are these gunpla scale? 350mm for a cannon seems small for a real size Gundam canon.

The measurements are caliber sizes
350 mm is a giant cannon dude. For reference any modern battle tank has around 120mm main cannon. So almost three times bigger than an abrams tanks main cannon.

I love the Duel, it is my fave of the OG five G-weapons. Its a shame that it didn't return in Seed Destiny. Also disappointed how it got treated in the Stargazer OVAs, it looked cool as f*ck. Not a fan of the Regen Duel's design though.
