Glad to see ya back in action Sam!
I designed a skirmish game for my friends who don't like bloated rulesets, and the idea that you can stack activations in this game is really cool. Great playthrough, I'll definently "borrow" some mechanics!
Oh boy, because what wargaming needs is MORE unbalanced, half baked homebrew rules
Nicely done! glad to see a redo of this video and it was really great!
Also you can go to the settings of the app to change it back to the classic armor rules which is what im using to get ahold of the rules before i go in.
Oh my goodness I didn’t know that! That’s super helpful
Thank you for this, I'm somewhat introverted and tend to just paint my minis and not play them but this helps me get closer to organizing a game sometime. I appreciate the detailed walkthrough of battle mechanics.
Super glad it helped, I know how it feels as I’m pretty introverted too (as much as it may not seem it in videos but then I get to just record on my own 😄). I’ll hopefully be doing a detailed solo gameplay walkthrough soon so hopefully that also helps!
Perfect timing, I haven't played yet and this will help a lot!
Glad I could help!
As always, a great video! A video similar to this that walks through the AI Solo play would be very helpful as well
That’s a great idea!
I played my first scenario yesterday, all thanks to your videos. Thank you!
For those who think the basic rules seem a bit dull, rest assured there are “crunchy” rules too. For example, you can add Quests, spend Luck, make Critical Attacks, use VATS, draw Events, and even add a Stealth option (from the F:WW RPG book). The advanced rules make the game WAY more dynamic and fun for me at least.
Absolutely spot on! These simple/ basic rules are to get you to the table, there are a TON of incredibly interesting features and rules to discover for this game that really just keep expanding it. Just wait until you try out settlement mode :)
Great video! You cover a lot of stuff in the 20 minutes that would take hours of reading and playing around with on the table.
Great video! You're definitely the best resource out there
You're way too kind
Thanks my friend always appreciate your vids 😊
And I appreciate you being here!
Awesome video. I can send this to friends who went to get into FWW.
Hope it helps!!
You changed your channel name! Glad to see you're back at it.
I did! I had posted about it on Instagram a while back but just felt it was time for a change to something that was a bit more me :)
I'd love to see a video on how you prep and start a campaign using the ai.
I’ll get on that one next :)
Great video!
Thanks!
Alwasy good to know!
Hi, quick query about the armour break mechanic. Does it not reduce the armour save on the target by 1 for each symbol rolled as opposed to automatically applying damage? Havent played in years, so it may well have changed
No you’re absolutely right
Im just starting out and I think I missed something, in the rule book it says that on each turn a play must ready a model. If all are ready do they have to activate before the round ends or no?
That’s absolutely correct, if all models are ready but haven’t activated then all will activate on that turn
Great video, I'm brand new to this game. Where do you find the cost of models etc, am I missing something obvious.
Found them from your link. Thanks.
Hey I’m new to the game, just painting figs at the moment so sorry in advance if my question doesn’t make sense… My question is about the cards specifically, I know there is errata for some of the old cards, right? Can you play the game using the old cards? If yes, why does the errata exist? Is it better?
So in essence errata adds more balance, the day one Dogmeat card for example was really overpowered. You can absolutely still play with these cards and in some cases may not even notice anything :)
Wait!! Your back? :)
I never left baybee!! (But in reality I had moved house twice and life was really busy and just didn’t have physical space to hobby, so actually yes indeed I am back 😄)
@@MisfitHobbies yay! Great video hoping for some battle reprts for FWW :)
The longer I play, the more it seems to me that all the clarifications about units and models are only confusing and came from the game’s card base, especially considering the clarification of the rules regarding unit items. Especially when there is a mobile application in which it is more convenient to correlate each model with a separate unit.
About how many models do you need to get started?
Honestly not many, you technically can play a full game with about 5-6 minis, I’ve got a solo battle report here on the channel doing just that
nice men
How did you get that game May so flat!?!?!? Mine is still wrinkled 😢
Is there a tutorial for making a new character in detail
Not from me but there may be one out there
is that unit rule is new?? i don't really like it....
No it’s been there since launch, it’s just taken me quite some time to fully understand it and I think that that’s what it means
