Great video but I think you forgot to mention one really important point: apart from buying the cards or using the app there is a third way as majority of the unit and equipment cards are available totally free for those who like physical copies. I also noticed that you cut your videos quite short. Any particular reason?
I’ll pin this for folks to see. As for video length I just don’t see the point in making videos needlessly long :) I just take the length of time I need.

Just got the two player overseer bundle and the raider bundle to get me started.
Also ordered the basic set of speed paints to get me started..
Always like the idea of mini table top games but I finally have the money and game to invest in.
Probably next month I will get some terrain pieces.
Oh nice! I use Army Painter for all my mini's, the sets are really great to get your paint set going. btw if you're buying your terrain from Modiphius don't be afraid to use the discount code to save some money ;)

Awesome stuff! Now for the unrelated but important question: Which faction is gameplay wise your favorite? Which faction, if not the same, is your favorite from the games?
Oh goodness, great question, I actually enjoy playing as the Mutants but I need to play with more of the other factions to get a feel for them

these videos have been really helpful as I'm getting back into the game after a long break and have forgotten some of the rules and mechanics.
also, I'm unsure if you'd have any idea about this, but are modiphius planning on restocking some of the earlier models such as the mirelurk queen? I'd really love one for my mirelurk collection but there's no indicator of any restocks. thanks :]

Thanks for the video. I‘m concerned about the quality of the pvc miniatures from the starter set. Is it significantly worse than the resin ones?
I‘ve also seen the starter set with the extra zetan alien model for 75€, and the standard version for ~55€, is the alien worth the cost? 😅
nvm, the alien is sold separately for 6€ 👀
So I’ve the PVC starter set and while they aren’t as high quality they are a LOT more durable which has helped me be able to transport it around easily to demo. I think if you’re starting off with the starter set there’s nothin wrong with going down the PVC route and then adding resin later if you like the game.
As for the Zetan, I’ve actually never used it to date, I may at some point but it’s kind of just a fun added model as opposed to one you’ll likely field a lot

For playing solo (will be playing with friends but am more interested in solo experience) what would be the recommended purchases. I have a starter box inbound but am having trouble finding out what I need for a variety of NPC encounters.
Honestly I would always say go for a faction that you think looks cool. As long as you have enough to field two forces you’re good. And in this game you don’t need a ton of minis to play a game
Can one play the game with a mirelurk force? I've only just heard of the game, and I instantly got excited about painting some mirelurks, but I want to make sure they're not just meant to be NPCs in scenarios or something.

So if i’m getting this correctly assuming I’m using my own minis all I need is the rule book and the special dice?
Late to the party here, but you can use regular D12 there is a conversion table (free PDF) that will show you what number corresponds to what symbol. That said it may be unwieldly to have to constantly have to look up each roll to see what it means. Also, the rulebook is a free pdf. Finally, you would also need the cards. All the cards from the core box are available via free pdf as well. I do believe you will either need to sub to the app or but hard copies of the subsequent waves of cards. So, in all reality you can get started with the core box scenarios 100% free just using proxy mini's (as long as you have some D12 laying around)
Hi i'm thinkin of getting into the game as the gunners. I would want to get someone else into it so is there a cheap way to do it?
My idea is to buy the core of two factions, look up the rules on the Internet, get some dice and go or am i missing something?
Also about the resin... GW resin is terrible how is the quaility of the wasteland warfare resin?
Hey there! So what I’d say is just buy the core box for Gunners and one other faction (if you’re not sure the other person will enjoy the game either get a faction you think they’ll like or just go for one you’d also enjoy just in case).
You can download the rules for free from what I remember, all the cards are in the app subscription, you can buy the dice on their own. I believe the only thing would be tokens but you might be able to find them on eBay if someone is selling their collection.
The resin I think is good but just really fragile

I don't know in the first core box does it come with a board.
It comes with a paper play mat as opposed to a cardboard one
How difficult is it to play? I get overwhelmed easy so miniature wise I only build and paint Warhammer because all those dice and numbers keep confusing me, no matter how anyone explains it 😅
Honestly not too difficult, I’ve got a ‘how to play your first game’ video but I’m hoping to do an updated version and run through the first few rounds. I usually run a simplified ruleset at the start and then introduce more rules as you see fit or feel comfortable
Is it possible to get the dice/ tokens without getting the starter set, i prefer the resin starter minis to the pvc ones and i would rather start with those
Absolutely, you can buy the dice on their own but I'm not sure about the tokens however I'd say it is possible to proxy the tokens with something else if need be.
Tokens and range rulers are available via free pdf. You will have to print them on sturdy card stock and cut them out manually. You can also use standard D12s as there is a conversion sheet (also free PDF) to convert the numbers to their corresponding symbols.

Nope not at all, new waves keep coming. The starter set unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at) just keeps selling out really fast
