- I built my very own slice of the Capitol Wasteland in miniature in this Fallout Diorama build! I used Fallout Wasteland Warfare miniatures along with various hobby supplies and products from Geek Gaming Scenics to build this scene from Bethesda Fallout 3, where the Lone Wanderer comes across a gang of Raiders. Who will win the shootout and can you find the hidden Bobblehead?! (Watch until the end!) Hopefully you'll pick up some handy tips for building your own post apocalyptic diorama.

Putting tea lights in miniature barrels is brilliant, I never would have thought of that!
Those raiders got themselves a nice lil' BobbleHead :P
And being Raiders they probably dont even use HairDye, they probably find PreWar Paint and Industrial Chemicals to decorate thier hair, faces, and armor. O.o

I'm a wee bit late in commenting [like, 2 years late] but that is an awesome diorama. Some techniques there I've not seen before too, the chicken wire and plaster roads, lights in the barrels. Brilliant đ

Now, when I learn to do what you do, or at least get better at it than I currently am, I'll have samples for a fallout stop motion. I grew up on Fallout and it's still my favorite game and I play Fallout 4, the best part is that there's still something to discover

Love the way you dressed up the mdf!! Looks fantastic!! I know this is unsolicited advice, and I hope you'll forgive me. It's a hack I recently tried & made such a difference, I just want to share. If you spritz the grout with iso or wet water, the watered down pva will soak in instantly instead of balling up on top. Made everything stick sooo much better. Again, excellent build!! The trash can fires... hella good! The little surprise was a kid standing on something that looked like a tiny racecar. Reminded me of Mach GoGoGo I guess.
Fallout 3 is probably the best game of all time. Great supplements too I think if I remember correctly.

I know this is a way late comment as the vid is 2+ years old but... I just want to give credit where credit is due... the diorama is one of the coolest I've seen in the fallout universe. VERY well done. And the vid, especially the ending, is great. Really, well done man.

I like this a lot. Using the chicken wire and plaster gave a fantastic finish on the overpass. It matches the roads in the game really well. Overall an excellent and insperational build, well done sir.

I was very late to the party with fallout only buying 3 and New Vegas a month or so before fallout 4 was realeased. Don't know how many hours I spent playing those 3 games but loved every minute!

I agree, although I have Fallout 76, unfortunately he didn't catch me in any way, I'd rather play Fallout 4, or I'll play Fallout 1 or 2 and remember the youth I met and immediately caught me.

There was a bit of trial and error that went beforehand, but it definitely worked out pretty well!

I think the only sensible answer is do both! Itâs rare that I get wrapped up in video games but the Fallout games really gripped me. I darenât even guess how many hours Iâve spent playing them đ

I once started to build dioramas for my freebooters fate games, but I never finished it.
But one day I will...

It took me a lot longer than I had originally planned and there were some real frustrations along the way, but Iâm really pleased with the final result. I guess youâve just got to push on through - with dioramas there are so many âbitsâ that some parts will definitely be more fun to make than others.
@@BenjisHobbies I kow how this can be I really had problems with my static grass applicator. To be fair, I build it myself. đ
But the build of my hot wir foam cutting tool went really smoothly.
im a sucker for all things fallout so i liked and subbed, but only after reading all the comments (i watched the vid first) i always wind up boosting my melee no matter what ('cos the amount of times i wind up trying to plasma rifle a super mutant in the crotch whilst he teabags me)
