    Great vid, can relate so much with this. I learned lip back 270 out before kfed and britney, because I couldn't do switchups for a while. This video is a GREAT guideline how to progress in freestyle jib, pure gold which is hard to come by these days. I'm 25 and started freestyle couple of years ago and your season beginning vid resonated with me a lot, same thoughts that maybe I'm too old to progress etc, bs. Let's get that bread this season, keep at it!

      Working through this progression atm at 30 (got everything but back swaps and britneys, also stuck on switch tails on...). You're never too old to keep learning as long as you keep yourself healthy.

    would definitely enjoy the next 10 rail tricks to learn since my home resort barely ever gets enough snow to build jumps so I'm stuck on rails lol

    I love the videos and I have learned a ton, but I have been with rental skis for about 14 years now 😅and I am planning on buying skiboards (94 centimetres to be specific); would you say the rails feel the same on them / can you give me some early advice on park features for shorter skis?

    i find im going over the rail when going on rails urban, is just this a quick fix with lots and lots of repetition, so i can get my balance and heel pedal right.
    and is there a vid for how to get on rails urban/kinked rails?

    Pretty good list but I think Ellen should come right after or maybe before k-fed, I think it's the easiest switch up to 2 out and the safest to learn

    • @arabianchickenbutter2677
      @arabianchickenbutter2677 Před 5 měsíci

      I’d disagree because you are still stopping your rotation after the first stop which is a lot harder than keeping your rotation

      @TheBagOTricks  Před 5 měsíci

      I didn't include that because nothing in the list really builds into the Ellen, unless you were to learn unnat front 2s, and I felt the others come around much more naturally with the tricks learned before them. Wanted this list to give you a smooth progression path, it's not necessarily ranked in order of difficulty!

    Is this from 1-10 in the order of what i should learn first? because i have front twos but i can literally almost front swap, but i cant blind 2, so maybe i could follow this progression.

    Should i hitt the rail fast or slow like for example if its a short rail should i jump and hit the end of the rail or do i go slower and try to slide the hole thing

    • @cxdy2113
      @cxdy2113 Před 5 měsíci

      Depends on what you’re trying to do. In general hitting rails with speed is gonna make them a lot easier (think abt how it’s a lot easier to balance on a bike when going fast compared to slow). If you’re trying to learn though sometimes it’s okay to hit the rails slow a few times and build up your confidence to hit the rail at a speed where sliding to the end doesn’t take too long (you can usually just feel this out). As for jumping to the end of the rail, that’s called a disaster and is definitely a lot less of a slide so if you’re trying to learn rails then that will prevent you from practicing your balance on them. Usually the difference between a disaster and just sliding the rail fast though is the amount of pop you give so you can practice sliding the rail faster by just popping a little less and getting your skis onto the rail right away without floating in the air off of the lip for a long time.
