- Day 2 trout fishing on the White River, we loaded up on Rainbow Trout. This was a fun day for us because for lunch all of the guides cleaned some of our fresh catch from that morning and cooked them fresh right on the open pits, including plenty of fixings to go along with them! It was great watching them all do their thing, cleaning the fish, getting the charcoal ready for cooking, to meal prep, to cooking the fish in the Lodge cast iron skillets. Great times were had by all this day!
What a good time that looked like
Now we cookin with P'nut oil guys!!!

fresh trout, bacon, white bread, taters n camp beans OMGEEEE what a day!
Thanks for the ride along Adam!
Thanks for just being just a regular dude, enjoying life. Your channel is about the only one I can stomach anymore, keep doing what y’all do. We enjoy the simple approach to RVing, cooking and leisure.
Great video Adam! I really enjoyed the fishing segment, and of course the cooking segment! That is such a very cool place and love that rustic cooking style they do over lump charcoal in cast iron. You two are living the dream man!
@18:06 "We can edit that out"... but we won't ! LOL!!!!! Awesome trip - felt like I was there! Thanks Adam and Abby!
Looked like a great time!
That was a first class setup there...those guys really know how to throw a good guide service and fantastic lunch. Cain't get no better! So glad Adam and Abby were able to sample some of Arkansas' fantastic country and fish. My mouth was watering all through the video!! Ya'll come back, hear??
Thank you for sharing your trip! Looks like a boatload of fun😝

I once watched Uncle Rack do this on tv with Harold Ensley.
Thanks for sharing the trip
That fish looks soooooo good. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent video Adam and Abby, great fishing trip and a super fish fry. Had many good meals like that camping around Colorado ourselves. Fred.🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋
Love to see you guys having a ball.
Looks like great fun ! Y'all are a great couple love watching you guys ! ! I live in Colorado and I'm into fly fishing and love it when I can get out and enjoy nature ! ! !
That was a awesome trip
Good home cooked food!
Next thing ya know abom is gonna be hunting whitetail lol
You had me at bacon. Man that’s just a good day.
Fish fried in bacon grease doesn't get any better than that!
You see how big them skillet are
We had a real fun trip b as CJ in the early 90’s
Wow, that's a fast moving river.
Get some rough weather? 22:26 "mackerel sky & mare's tails make ships lower lofty sails." If you didn't, the potential was there.
so nice every body happy in traute fish party in Arkansas.
Looks like fun...wondering how deep that river is?
Welcome to Arkansas 🐟
I bet Adam was carrying a Starret 724LZ-24 Tubular Bow Type 24 inch micrometer, to make sure one of those fishes wasnt gonna get off!
Ha! 👍🏻
Hi. I enjoyed your video especially this one with the shore fish fry. I was searching fishing guides, but it seemed rather expensive. I wonder if you could tell me the name of guide or company, and what a typical cost is for two for maybe half day in morning?
What type of lures/bait are you guys using? Looks like you had a blast!
nice fishing! do they stock this river ?
While I’m not normally interested in fishing I am thinking of shortening my visit to Hot Springs and head north to try this out. My husband has mobility issues wonder how difficult would be to get in a boat LOL
Just down river a little bit is a town called Cotter. I’m pretty sure they have handicap access there. Go to Gastons for lunch it’s a cool place.
No problem, they will be very helpful. They want you to have a good time.
I live near 5 great lakes (literally 30 minutes of Lake Huron), and I live 5 minutes from the St. Clair river that has all kinds of good fishing....and yet...nope, never been. :(
Such a beautiful couple. Inspires me to lose my single guy moniker
Gotta find the right partner to share life with! 👍🏻
Them cooks could use some ABOM talents
What were you using for bait?
I thought I saw a doll fly (dahl ?) at one point, a maribou jig in other words. That river is moving good and there must be a goodly number of fish in it to catch them like that.
I need a good guide. Can I hire this man from Gastons or do I need to contact him personally?
You can call to book a trip and request Rusty.
You know that guide would have rather been bass fishing
Where is this white river
In Arkansas and Missouri.
@@Jemalacane0 I've been to the one in Batesville Ark
@@mikeosborne7753 Same river, but this is by the Bull Shoals dam 90 miles upstream.
Culling fish is definitely illegal btw. Typical crap Gastons behavior
It's illegal to cull fish on the White River
Once you live well them ... But I can catch and release 30 and keep the next ones for a legal limit!
Fly fishermen beware, total mishandling of trout in this video. That poor brown 😓
This comment has NOTHING to do with the uploader and 100% to do with the guide. Anyone who drinks coors banquet is good in my book lol
Culling those trout is bad form. That guide should know better. My uncle guided that river for 30 years and my families roots go back well past pre Bull Shoals Dam era. Shamefull and unethical.
Now we cookin with P'nut oil guys!!!
double delicious stuff right there!
fresh trout, bacon, white bread, taters n camp beans OMGEEEE what a day!
