There was a kid in my neighborhood with a Honda that sounded like that. I fixed it one night with a $7 can of spray foam insulation. Annoying POS no more.

Nice job. I don’t know if anyone already mentioned it or if you are looking to lower dB anymore. Try wrapping muffler packing in between the baffle plates.

Cool vid man, thanks. I used this on my Nissan d21 with headers. Even with a good muffler it sounded like a Harley Davidson on meth. Installed one of these from Tokyo Sport and it sounds 30db quieter!
You need to get those restrictive baffles out and get two 3" resonators in there, one where the cat used to be and the other further back before the 90deg bend, it will make a massive difference ( 20db less atleast) and won't kill the power at all. Get a j pipe on too it will help at around 3k..

Pro Tip: heat your pipe, Freeze your insert
Db is in order of magnitude.(not liner) 3@100 is not the same as 3@50

These 100% work for drone but it kills the flow. I had it on my sierra denali 3.5" exhaust, it killed the top end on my 6.2, the auger style is better for flow.
I will be buying the Amazon Universal Baffle with fiberglass wrap to see if it will quiet down a Honda muffler delete.

This car dosent make much power to effect it but when i put the turbo on i plan to test it out. Reposts shown tq gain and hp loss jist like 1-2 tq / hp difference long as you dont stiff the packing in if
I’m sorry but this baffling crap causes restriction especially if your going turbo. You should have done research or got advice from people because it seems you don’t know what your doing and I understand you don’t want to cut up your new exhaust but that’s your fault not knowing that the blox muffler has no packing inside for reducing the drone/noise. Magnaflow is a great choice for quieter exhausts with straight through design so what you should have done is add 2 Magnaflow Resonators if using this Blox exhaust to drop the DB’s or a Magnaflow Muffler and 1 Resonator. Vibrant is another Brand I recommend so basically if you go Turbo just plan on cutting that exhaust piping up because you added a crappy part that is going to be a headache to remove because of a bad choice. That small straight through pipe looks like a 2” so you went from 3” flow to a smaller flow just brilliant. Please educate your self on the exhaust system weather rebuilding a stock system or for race use to give newbie’s real information that will help them not set them back. I know what I’m talking about because before building mine I took the time to read and watch videos of many muffler types and resonators to find what works for me and sounds great to people around you. People don’t build a setups like this you my as well go straight pipe or open headers seriously.

I would have just put a quieter muffler on it. Those fart can mufflers are the worse sounding mufflers ever.
